Importance

Sayyed ibn Tawus reports the following supplication in Iqbal Amaal for the Night of Ghadir:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ دَعَوْتَنَا إِلَى سَبِيلِ طَاعَتِكَ وَ طَاعَةِ نَبِيِّكَ وَ وَصِيِّهِ وَ عِتْرَتِهِ

allahumma innaka da-‘awtana ila sabeeli ta’atika wa ta’ati nabiyyika wa wasiyyihi wa ‘itratihi

O” my God! You invited us to the path of obeying You, Your Prophet, his Trustee and his household

دُعَاءً لَهُ نُورٌ وَ ضِيَاءٌ وَ بَهْجَةٌ وَ اسْتِنَارٌ

du’aa-an lahu noorun wad hiya-un wa bahjatun wa-stinaar

– an invitation filled with light, illumination, joy and brightness.

فَدَعَانَا نَبِيُّكَ لِوَصِيِّهِ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ

fa-da’aana nabiyyuka liwasiyyihi yawma ghadeeri khummin

Then Your Prophet of Mercy invited us to follow his Trustee (Imam Ali) on the Day of Ghadir Khum

فَوَفَّقْتَنَا لِلْإِصَابَةِ وَ سَدَّدْتَنَا لِلْإِجَابَةِ لِدُعَائِهِ

fa-waffaqtana lilisaabati wa saddad-tana lil ijaabati li-du’aaihi

and You granted us success in choosing the correct path and helped us accept his invitation.

فَأَنَبْنَا إِلَيْكَ بِالْإِنَابَةِ وَ أَسْلَمْنَا لِنَبِيِّكَ قُلُوبَنَا

fa-anaba ilayka bil-inaabati wa aslamna linabiyyika quloobana

Thus we turned back to You and submitted our hearts to Your Prophet,

وَ لِوَصِيِّهِ نُفُوسَنَا وَ لِمَا دَعَوْتَنَا إِلَيْهِ عُقُولَنَا فَتَمَّ لَنَا نُورُكَ

wa liwasiyyihi nufoosana wa lima da-‘awtana ilayhi ‘uqoolana fatamma lana nooruka

and our souls to his Trustee and our intellects to what You invited us to.

يَا هَادِيَ الْمُضِلِّينَ فَتَمَّ لَنَا نُورُكَ

ya hadi-yal mudhilleena fatamma lana nooruka

O’ Guider of the deviated! Please perfect Your Light for us.

أَخْرِجِ الْبُغْضَ وَ الْمُنْكَرَ وَ الْغُلُوَّ لِأَمِينِكَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ مِنْ قُلُوبِنَا وَ نُفُوسِنَا وَ أَلْسِنَتِنَا وَ هُمُومِنَا

akhrijil bughdha wal munkara wal ghuluwwa li-ameenika ameeril momineena wal aimmati min wuldihi min quloobina wa nufoosina wa alsinatina wa humoomina

Please take away from our hearts, souls and tongues and thoughts any hatred, denial or flattery for Your Trusted One – the Commander of the Faithful Ali, and the father of the rest of the Divine Leaders

وَ زِدْنَا مِنْ مُوَالاتِهِ وَ مَحَبَّتِهِ وَ مَوَدَّتِهِ لَهُ وَ الْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ زِيَادَاتٍ لَا انْقِطَاعَ لَهَا وَ مُدَّةً لَا تَنَاهِيَ لَهَا

wa zidna min muwaalatihi wa mahabbatihi wa mawaddatihi lahu wal aimmati mim ba’dihi ziyaadaatin lan-qitaa’a laha wa muddatan la tanaahiya lahaa

Please increase our friendship, love, and affection for him and the Divine Leaders after him such that there is no cessation or end for it.

وَ اجْعَلْنَا نُعَادِي لِوَلِيِّكَ مَنْ نَاصَبَهُ وَ نُوَالِي مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ وَ نَأْمُلُ بِذَلِكَ طَاعَتَكَ

waj’alnaa nu’aadee liwaliyyika man nasabahu wa nuwaali man ahabbahu wa namulu bi-dhaalika taa-‘atak

Please let us be enemies of his enemies and friends with his friends with our sole intention of this being Your Obedience.

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

ya arhamar-rahimeen

O’ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَذَابَكَ وَ سَخَطَكَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاصَبَ وَلِيَّكَ وَ جَاحَدَ [وَ جَحَدَ] إِمَامَتَهُ وَ أَنْكَرَ وَلَايَتَهُ

allahumma-j’al ‘adhabaka wa sakhataka ‘alaa man naasaba waliyyaka wa jaahada (wa jahada) imaamatahu wa ankara walaayatahu

O’ my God! Please place Your Punishment and Wrath on whoever is the enemy of Your Friend, denies his Divine Leadership

وَ قَدَّمْتَهُ أَيَّامَ فِتْنَتِكَ فِي كُلِّ عَصْرٍ وَ زَمَانٍ وَ أَوَانٍ

wa qaddamtahu ayyama fitnatika fi kulli ‘asrin wa zamaanin wa awaanin

rejects his Mastery whom You have reserved for the periods of sedition in all periods, times and eras

إِنَّكَ عَلى‏ كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

innaka ‘alaa kulli shayin qadeer

as indeed You have Power over all things.

اللَّهُمَّ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِكَ وَ عَلِيٍّ وَلِيِّكَ وَ الْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ حُجَجِكَ

allahumma bihaqqi muhammadin rasoolika wa ‘aliyyin waliyyika wal aimmati mim ba’dihi hujajika

O’ my God! I ask You for the sake of Your Prophet Muhammad and Your Friend Ali and Your Proofs – the Divine Leaders after him

فَأَثْبِتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ وَ مُوَالاةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ مُعَادَاةِ أَعْدَائِكَ

fa-athbit qalbi ‘alaa deenika wa muwaalaati awliyaaika wa mu’aadati a’adaaika

to establish my heart firmly on Your Religion and the love of Your Friends, and hatred of Your enemies

مَعَ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

ma’a khayrid-dunya wal aakhira

along with the good of this world and the Hereafter

تَجْمَعُهُمَا لِي وَ لِأَهْلِي وَ وُلْدِي وَ إِخْوَانِيَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ‏

tama’uhuma li wa li ahli wa wuldi wa ikhwaaniyal momineen

for me, my wife, children and Muslim brethren

إِنَّكَ عَلى‏ كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

innaka ‘alaa kulli shayin qadeer

as indeed You have Power over all things.

General Amaal for Ghadir Day

Perform Ghusl (ritual bath), wear one's best clean clothes, use perfume, give gifts to momineen and give sadqa.
Sadqa:One dirham that is given as alms on this day to a believer is equal to one thousand dirhams that are given on other days.
To offer food to a believer on this day is equal, in reward, to offering food to all the prophets and the veracious people.

It is highly recommended to fast on this day for it erases the sins of sixty years.
It is also reported that the reward of fasting on this day equals that of worship and fasting performed for a period extending from the worlds beginning until the world lasts and is equal to a hundred hajj and a hundred 'umrah.

Recite Dua' al-Nudbah

Recite Salwaat as much as possible on this day

اللّهُمّ صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ.

Allahuma salle alaa Mohammad wa Aale Mohammad

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and his Household

It is recommended to repeat the following statement one hundred times on this day:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ كَمَالَ دِينِهِ

alhamdu lillahi alladhi ja`ala kamala dinihi

All praise be to Allah Who has made the perfection of His religion

وَتَمَامَ نِعْمَتِهِ

wa tamama ni`matihi

and the completion of His grace

بِوِلاَيَةِ أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤمِنِينَ

biwilayati amiri almu'minina

in the leadership of the Commander of the Believers,

عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

`aliyyi bni abi talibin `alayhi alssalamu

`Ali the son of Abu-Talib, peace be upon him.

Three Short Supplications from Iqbal Amaal and 'Thanks giving' Salat

1. After Ghusl ,wear best clean clothes, use perfume and say the following.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي شَرَّفْتَنَا فِيهِ بِوَلَايَةِ وَلِيِّكَ عَلِيٍّ صلوات لله عليه

O' my God! This is the day on which You honored us with the Mastery of Your Friend, Ali (God’s blessing be upon him)

وَ جَعَلْتَهُ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

made him the Commander of the Faithful

وَ أَمَرْتَنَا بِمُوَالاتِهِ وَ طَاعَتِهِ

ordered us to accept his Mastery and his orders

وَ أَنْ نَتَمَسَّكَ بِمَا يُقَرِّبُنَا إِلَيْكَ

and grab onto what brings us closer to You

وَ يُزْلِفُنَا لَدَيْكَ أَمْرُهُ وَ نَهْيُهُ

and accept his orders and admonitions that bring us close to You

اللَّهُمَّ قَدْ قَبِلْنَا أَمْرَكَ وَ نَهْيَكَ

O my God! We accept Your Orders and Your Admonitions

[وَ سَمِعْنَا] وَ أَطَعْنَا لِنَبِيِّكَ

We hear and obey Your Prophet

وَ سَلَّمْنَا وَ رَضِينَا

we submit and are satisfied

فَنَحْنُ مَوَالِي عَلِيٍّ صلوات لله عليه وَ أَوْلِيَائِهِ كَمَا أَمَرْتَ نُوَالِيهِ

We are the friends of Ali (God’s blessing be upon him) we make friends with his friends as You ordered

وَ نُعَادِي مَنْ يُعَادِيهِ

and are the enemy of his enemies

وَ نَبْرَأُ مِمَّنْ يَبْرَأُ مِنْهُ

We disown whomever he disowns

وَ نُبْغِضُ مَنْ أَبْغَضَهُ

despise whoever he despises

وَ نُحِبُّ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ

and like whomever he likes as You said

وَ عَلِيٌّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ مَوْلَانَا كَمَا قُلْتَ وَ إِمَامُنَا بَعْدَ نَبِيِّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ كَمَا أَمَرْتَ

We follow him after the Prophet (blessings of God be upon him and his family) as You ordered.

2.Recite the following invocaton for Almighty Allah’s protection against Satan

from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him and his family) as cited by Sayyed ibn Tawus in Iqbal:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the Name of God, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَيْرِ الْأَسْمَاءِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْآخِرَةِ وَ الْأُولَى وَ رَبِّ الْأَرْضِ وَ السَّمَاءِ

In the Name of God – the best of the Names. In the Name of the Lord of the Hereafter and this world, Lord of the earth and the heavens.

ذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ كَيْدُ الْأَعْدَاءِ وَ بِهَا تُدْفَعُ كُلُّ الْأَسْوَاءِ وَ بِالْقَسَمِ بِهَا يُكْفَى مَنِ اسْتَكْفَى

The Name with which the plots of the enemies will not be effective, with which all evil is fended off, and with which anyone who asks will be taken care of.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ خَالِقُهُ وَ بَارِئُ كُلِّ مَخْلُوقٍ وَ رَازِقُهُ

O' my God! You are the Lord and Creator of all things. You are the Initiator and Provider for all creators

وَ مُحْصِي كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ عَالِمُهُ، وَ كَافِي كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ وَ قَاصِمُهُ

You count all things and know about them. You destroy all the rebellious oppressors

وَ مُعِينُ كُلِّ مُتَوَكِّلٍ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَاصِمُهُ وَ بِرُّ كُلِّ مَخْلُوقٍ وَ رَاحِمُهُ

You help all who rely on You and help them. You are kind and merciful to all creatures

لَيْسَ لَكَ ضِدٌّ فَيُعَانِدُكَ [فيعادك‌] وَ لَا نِدٌّ فَيُقَاوِمُكَ وَ لَا شَبِيهٌ فَيُعَادِلُكَ

There is none to oppose You. There is none to insist before You. There is none comparable to You

تَعَالَيْتَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ عُلُوّاً كَبِيراً

You are Exalted and Great beyond all this

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ اعْتَصَمْتُ وَ اسْتَقَمْتُ وَ إِلَيْكَ تَوَجَّهْتُ وَ عَلَيْكَ اعْتَمَدْتُ

O' my God! I seek protection in You and direct my attention to You. I depend upon You.

يَا خَيْرَ عَاصِمٍ وَ أَكْرَمَ رَاحِمٍ وَ أَحْكَمَ حَاكِمٍ وَ أَعْلَمَ عَالِمٍ

O the best Protector, the Kindest Merciful, the Wisest Ruler and Most Knowlegeable Scholar!

مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِكَ عَصَمْتَهُ وَ مَنِ اسْتَرْحَمَكَ رَحِمْتَهُ

You protect whoever seeks Your Protection. You are merciful to whoever seeks Your Mercy

وَ مَنِ اسْتَكْفَاكَ كَفَيْتَهُ وَ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ [عَلَيْكَ‌] أَمِنْتَهُ وَ هَدَيْتَهُ

You suffice whoever seeks sufficiency. You secure and guide whoever relies upon You

سَمْعاً لِقَوْلِكَ يَا رَبِّ وَ طَاعَةً لِأَمْرِكَ [بِأَمْرِكَ‌]

O Lord! I hear and obey Your Orders

اللَّهُمَّ أَقُولُ وَ بِتَوْفِيقِكَ أَقُولُ وَ عَلَى كِفَايَتِكَ أَعُولُ

O my God! I speak with Your Success, I trust in Your Sufficiency

وَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ أَطُولُ وَ بِكَ أَسْتَكْفِي وَ أَصُولُ‌

I bestow by Your Power, I seek sufficiency from You.

فَاكْفِنِي اللَّهُمَّ وَ أَنْقِذْنِي وَ تَوَلَّنِي وَ اعْصِمْنِي وَ عَافِنِي وَ امْنَعْ مِنِّي وَ خُذْ لِي وَ كُنْ لِي بِعَيْنِكَ وَ لَا تَكُنْ عَلَيَّ

O my God! Please suffice for me, save me, protect me, give me well-being, defend me, and take care of me

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ إِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ وَ إِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

My Lord! You are my Nourisher! In You I have placed my trust, and to You do I turn in repentance, and to You is (our) Final Goal

وَ أَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

And You have Power over all things.

3.At noon, sit down with tranquility and say the following words:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ‌

Praise be to God! the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds

كَمَا فَضَّلَنَا فِي دِينِهِ عَلَى مَنْ جَحَدَ وَ عَنَدَ

He favored us in His Religion with victory over those who deny, and His enemies

وَ فِي نَعِيمِ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ عَمَدَ

and gave us great blessings compared to many of those who are deviated

وَ هَدَانَا بِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

He guided us by His Prophet Muhammad (blessings of God be upon him and his family)

وَ شَرَّفَنَا بِوَصِيِّهِ وَ خَلِيفَتِهِ فِي حَيَاتِهِ وَ بَعْدَ مَمَاتِهِ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ص

honored us by his Trustee and Caliph during his life and after his death – the Commander of the Faithful (God’s blessing be upon him)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ نَبِيُّنَا [كَمَا] أَمَرْتَ

O' my God! Muhammad (blessings of God be upon him and his family) is our Prophet as You decreed.

وَ عَلِيّاً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ مَوْلَانَا كَمَا أَقَمْتَ

and Ali (God’s blessing be upon him) is our Master as You decided

وَ نَحْنُ مَوَالِيهِ وَ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُ

We are his followers and friends.

Iqbal Aamal mentions a 2 Rakat Salat thanksgiving prayer:

In the first Rakat recite Sura Fatihah and Sura Qadr and in the second Rakat recite Sura Ikhlaas after Sura Fatiha.Upon completion prostrate yourself in adoration, and say the following when prostrating:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا إِلَيْكَ نُوَجِّهُ وُجُوهَنَا فِي يَوْمِ عِيدِنَا الَّذِي شَرَّفْتَنَا فِيهِ بِوَلَايَةِ مَوْلَانَا أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَلَيْكَ نَتَوَكَّلُ وَ بِكَ نَسْتَعِينُ فِي أُمُورِنَا

Oh God, we turn our faces to you on the day of our festival, which you honored us with the wilayat of Maulana Commander of the Faithful Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him .whom we rely on and seek help from for all our affairs.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدَتْ وُجُوهُنَا وَ أَشْعَارُنَا وَ أَبْشَارُنَا وَ جُلُودُنَا وَ عُرُوقُنَا وَ أَعْظُمُنَا وَ أَعْصَابُنَا وَ لُحُومُنَا وَ دِمَاؤُنَا

Oh God, To You we prostrate as does our face,our hair , our skin, our bones, our nerves, our blood

اللَّهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ لَكَ نَخْضَعُ وَ لَكَ نَسْجُدُ عَلَى مِلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ دِينِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ وَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

“O' my God! You alone I worship and to You alone I humble myself, and to You I prostrate. We follow the nation of Abraham (as) and the religion of Muhammad and his Trustees (as).

حُنَفَاءَ مُسْلِمِينَ وَ مَا نَحْنُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَ لَا مِنَ الْجَاحِدِينَ

We are Muslims, not of the atheists, nor those who deny God.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْجَاحِدِينَ الْمُعَانِدِينَ الْمُخَالِفِينَ لِأَمْرِكَ وَ أَمْرِ رَسُولِكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

O' my God! Please damn those who deny God, those who disagree and those who oppose Your Orders and the orders of Your Prophet (as).

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْمُبْغِضِينَ لَهُمْ لَعْناً كَثِيراً لَا يَنْقَطِعُ أَوَّلُهُ وَ لَا يَنْفَدُ آخِرُهُ

O' my God! Please damn those who were hostile to them – such extensive damnation whose beginnig is without cessation and whose end is without any break through.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ ثَبِّتْنَا عَلَى مُوَالاتِكَ وَ مُوَالاةِ رَسُولِكَ وَ آلِ رَسُولِكَ وَ مُوَالاةِ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ

O' my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny and make us steadfast in Your Love, love for Your Prophet and his family, and love for the Commander of the Faithful.

اللَّهُمَ‌ آتِنا فِي الدُّنْيا حَسَنَةً وَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَ أَحْسِنْ مُنْقَلَبَنَا يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَ مَوْلَانَا

O' my God! Please grant us the good of this world, and the good of the Hereafter with the best afterlife. O‟ our Master and Gaurdian!”

Offer a two unit salat at any time preferably near the time of noon for it was at that hour that the event of Ghadeer took place.

In the first Rakat recite Sura Qadr after Sura Fatihah and in the second Rakat recite Sura Ikhlaas after Sura Fatiha

It is reported that those who perform this observance recieve the reward of someone who had been present on the day of Ghadeer with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him and his family) and sworn allegiance to him, as regards to the divinely commissioned leadership (wilayah) of Imam `Ali (peace be upon him).

After salat, one should prostrate say one hundred times

شُكْراً لِلَّهِ
shukran lillah
Thanks be to Allah.

Then say the following dua:

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدَ

allahumma inni as'aluka bi'anna laka alhamda

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of that all praise be to You,

وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ

wahdaka la sharika laka

alone, without having any partner,

وَأَنَّكَ وَاحِدٌ أَحَدٌ صَمَدٌ

wa annaka wahidun ahadun samadun

and that You are One, One and Only, and eternally Besought of all;

لَمْ تَلِدْ وَلَمْ تُولَدْ

lam talid wa lam tulad

You beget not nor are You begotten,

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ

wa lam yakun laka kufwan ahadun

and there is none like You;

وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ

wa anna muhammadan `abduka wa rasuluka

and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger,

صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

salawatuka `alayhi wa alihi

Your blessings be upon him and his Household.

يَا مَنْ هُوَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ فِي شَأْنٍ

ya man huwa kulla yawmin fi sha'nin

O He Who is in a state every day!

كَمَا كَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ أَنْ تَفَضَّلْتَ عَلَيَّ

kama kana min sha'nika an tafaddalta `alayya

Just as You decided to confer upon me with Your favor

بِأَنْ جَعَلْتَنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ إِجَابَتِكَ

bi'an ja`altani min ahli ijabatika

when You included me with those to whom You responded,

وَأَهْلِ دِينِكَ

wa ahli dinika

the company of Your religion,

وَأَهْلِ دَعْوَتِكَ

wa ahli da`watika

and the company of those who pray You,

وَوَفَّقْتَنِي لِذٰلِكَ فِي مُبْتَدَءِ خَلْقِي

wa waffaqtani lidhalika fi mubtada'i khalqi

You had led me to this in the beginning of Your creation of me

تَفَضُّلاً مِنْكَ وَكَرَماً وَجُوداً

tafaddulan minka wa karaman wa judan

as a sign of Your favoring, generosity, and magnanimity.

ثُمَّ أَرْدَفْتَ ٱلْفَضْلَ فَضْلاًَ

thumma ardafta alfadla fadlan

Then, You followed the favor with another favor,

وَٱلْجُودَ جُوداً

waljuda judan

the magnanimity with another magnanimity,

وَٱلْكَرَمَ كَرَماً

walkarama karaman

and the generosity with another generosity,

رَأْفَةً مِنْكَ وَرَحْمَةً

ra'fatan minka wa rahmatan

on account of Your kindness and mercy,

إِلَىٰ أَنْ جَدَّدْتَ ذٰلِكَ ٱلْعَهْدَ لِي تَجْدِيداً

ila an jaddadta dhalika al`ahda li tajdidan

so You renewed all that for me over again

بَعْدَ تَجدِيدِكَ خَلْقِي

ba`da tajdidika khalqi

after You renewed my creation

وَكُنْتُ نَسْياً مَنْسِيّاً

wa kuntu nasyan mansiyyan

while I was a thing quite forgotten,

نَاسِياً سَاهِياً غَافِلاً

nasiyan sahiyan ghafilan

oblivious, unmindful, and heedless.

فَأَتْمَمْتَ نِعْمَتَكَ

fa'atmamta ni`mataka

So, You completed Your grace

بِأَنْ ذَكَّرْتَنِي ذٰلِكَ

bi'an dhakkartani dhalika

when You made me remember that,

وَمَنَنْتَ بِهِ عَلَيَّ

wa mananta bihi `alayya

bestowed this favor upon me,

وَهَدَيْتَنِي لَهُ

wa hadaytani lahu

and guided me to it.

فَليَكُنْ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ

falyakun min sha'nika

So, (please) may one of Your decisions,

يَا إِلٰهِي وَسَيِّدِي وَمَولاَيَ

ya ilahi wa sayyidi wa mawlaya

O my God, Master, and Sustainer,

أَنْ تُتِمَّ لِي ذٰلِكَ وَلاَ تَسْلُبْنيهِ

an tutimma li dhalika wa la taslubnihi

be that You perfect this for me and never deprive me of it

حَتَّىٰ تَتَوَفَّانِي عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ

hatta tatawaffani `ala dhalika

until You cause me to die on this faith

وَأَنْتَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ

wa anta `anni radin

and You are pleased with me.

فَإِنَّكَ أَحَقُّ ٱلْمُنعِمِينَ

fa'innaka ahaqqu almun`imina

For, verily, You are the worthiest Benefactor

أَنْ تُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَكَ عَلَيَّ

an tutimma ni`mataka `alayya

of perfecting Your grace for me.

اَللَّهُمَّ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا

allahumma sami`na wa ata`na

O Allah, we have listened, obeyed,

وَأَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَكَ بِمَنِّكَ

wa ajabna da`iyaka bimannika

and answered Your call on account of Your favor to us.

فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ

falaka alhamdu

So, all praise be to You.

غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا

ghufranaka rabbana

Your forgiveness, O our Lord, we seek

وَإِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

wa ilayka almasiru

and to You is the return.

آمَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ

amanna billahi wahdahu

We believe in Allah, alone;

لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ

la sharika lahu

there is no partner with Him,

وَبِرَسُولِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ

wa birasulihi muhammadin

and (we believe) in His Messenger, Muhammad,

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi

may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household,

وَصَدَّقْنَا وَأَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَ ٱللَّهِ

wa saddaqna wa ajabna da`iya allahi

we trust and respond to the caller of Allah,

وَٱتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فِي مُوَالاَةِ مَوْلاَنَا

wattaba`na alrrasula fi muwalati mawlana

we followed the Messenger as regards the loyalty to our master,

وَمَوْلَىٰ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

wa mawla almu'minina

and the master of the believers,

أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

amiri almu'minina

the commander of the believers,

عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ

`aliyyi bni abi talibin

`Ali, the son of Abu-Talib,

عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَخِي رَسُولِهِ

`abdi allahi wa akhi rasulihi

Allah’s servant and His Messenger’s brother,

وَٱلصِّدِّيقِ ٱلأَكْبَرِ

walssiddiqi al'akbari

the grandest veracious,

وَٱلْحُجَّةِ عَلَىٰ بَرِيَّتِهِ

walhujjati `ala bariyyatihi

the claim on His creation,

ٱلْمُؤَيِّدِ بِهِ نَبِيَّهُ

almu'ayyidi bihi nabiyyahu

by him, He supported His Prophet

وَدِينَهُ ٱلْحَقَّ ٱلْمُبِينَ

wa dinahu alhaqqa almubina

and His religion, the manifest true.

عَلَماً لِدِينِ ٱللَّهِ

`alaman lidini allahi

(We believe in him as) the sign of Allah’s religion,

وَخَازِناً لِعِلْمِهِ

wa khazinan li`ilmihi

the keeper of His knowledge,

وَعَيْبَةَ غَيْبِ ٱللَّهِ

wa `aybata ghaybi allahi

the container of Allah’s unseen affairs,

وَمَوْضِعَ سِرِّ ٱللَّهِ

wa mawdi`a sirri allahi

the carrier of Allah’s secrets,

وَأَمِينَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَىٰ خَلْقِهِ

wa amina allahi `ala khalqihi

the trustee of Allah on His creatures,

وَشَاهِدَهُ فِي بَرِيَّتِهِ

wa shahidahu fi bariyyatihi

and His witness on His created beings.

اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِياً

allahumma rabbana innana sami`na munadiyan

O Allah, O our Lord, surely, we have heard a preacher

يُنَادِي لِلإِيـمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوٱ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا

yunadi lil'imani an aminu birabbikum fa'amanna

calling to the faith, saying, “Believe in your Lord.” So, we did believe.

رَبَّنَا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا

rabbana faghfir lana dhunubana

Our Lord! Forgive us therefore our faults,

وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا

wa kaffir `anna sayyi'atina

cover our evil deeds,

وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ ٱلأَبْرَارِ

wa tawaffana ma`a al'abrari

and make us die with the righteous ones.

رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ

rabbana wa atina ma wa`adtana `ala rusulika

Our Lord! And grant us what You have promised us by Your messengers;

وَلاَ تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ

wa la tukhzina yawma alqiyamati

and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection.

إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ

innaka la tukhlifu almi`ada

Surely, You do not fail to perform the promise.

فَإِنَّا يَا رَبَّنَا بِمَنِّكَ وَلُطْفِكَ

fa'inna ya rabbana bimannika wa lutfika

Because we, O our Lord, on account of Your grace and kindness,

أَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَكَ

ajabna da`iyaka

responded to Your caller

وَٱتَّبَعْنَا ٱلرَّسُولَ وَصَدَّقْنَاهُ

wattaba`na alrrasula wa saddaqnahu

followed the Messenger, believed him,

وَصَدَّقْنَا مَوْلَىٰ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

wa saddqna mawla almu'minina

trusted the Master of the Believers,

وَكَفَرْنَا بِٱلْجِبْتِ وَٱلطَّاغُوتِ

wa kafarna biljibti walttaghuti

and denied the idols (Jibt) and false deities (Taghut).

فَوَلِّنَا مَا تَوَلَّيْنَا

fawallina ma tawallayna

So, (please) join us with those whom we chose to join

وَٱحْشُرْنَا مَعَ أَئِمَّتِنَا

wahshurna ma`a a'immatina

and put us in the group of our Imams,

فَإِنَّا بِهِمْ مُؤْمِنُونَ مُوقِنُونَ

fa'inna bihim mu'minuna muqinuna

for we do believe in them with absolute belief,

وَلَهُمْ مُسَلِّمُونَ

wa lahum musallimuna

and to them we do submit.

آمَنَّا بِسِرِّهِمْ وَعَلاَنِيَتِهِمْ

amanna bisirrihim wa `alaniyatihim

We believe in their secret and open affairs,

وَشَاهِدِهِمْ وَغَائِبِهِمْ

wa shahidihim wa gha'ibihim

their present and their absent ones,

وَحَيِّهِمْ وَمَيِّتِهِمْ

wa hayyihim wa mayyitihim

and their living and their dead ones.

وَرَضِينَا بِهِمْ أَئِمَّةً

wa radina bihim a'immatan

We consent to them as our imams,

وَقَادَةً وَسَادَةً

wa qadatan wa sadatan

leaders, and chiefs.

وَحَسْبُنَا بِهِمْ

wa hasbuna bihim

And we stop at them

بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ ٱللَّهِ دُونَ خَلْقِهِ

baynana wa bayna allahi duna khalqihi

in all of our affairs with Allah, excluding all other creatures of Him.

لاَ نَبْتَغِي بِهِمْ بَدَلاً

la nabtaghi bihim badalan

We do not seek any substitutes of them,

وَلاَ نَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ وَلِيجَةً

wa la nattakhidhu min dunihim walijatan

and we do not betake ourselves any friends other than them.

وَبَرِئْنَا إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ

wa bari'na ila allahi

We, before Allah, disapprove

مِنْ كُلِّ مَنْ نَصَبَ لَهُمْ حَرْباً

min kulli man nasaba lahum harban

all those who made war with them,

مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلإِنْسِ

min aljinn wal'insi

from jinn and men,

مِنَ ٱلأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلآخِرِينَ

min al'awwalina wal'akhirina

from the past and the coming generations.

وَكَفَرْنَا بِٱلْجِبْتِ وَٱلطَّاغُوتِ

wa kafarna biljibti walttaghuti

We deny the idols, the false deities,

وَٱلأَوْثَانِ ٱلأَرْبَعَةِ

wal-awthani al'arba`ati

the four pagans,

وَأَشْيَاعِهِمْ وَأَتْبَاعِهِمْ

wa ashya`ihim wa atba`ihim

their partisans, their followers,

وَكُلِّ مَنْ وَالاَهُمْ

wa kulli man walahum

and all those who support them

مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلإِنْسِ

min aljinni wal'insi

from jinn and human beings

مِنْ أَوَّلِ ٱلدَّهْرِ إِلَىٰ آخِرِهِ

min awwali alddahri ila akhirihi

from the first of time to the last of it.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نُشْهِدُكَ

allahumma inna nushhiduka

O Allah, we call You to witness

أَنَّا نَدِينُ بِمَا دَانَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدٌ وَآلُ مُحَمَّدٍ

annaa nadinu bima dana bihi muhammadun wa alu muhammadin

that we profess all that professed by Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ

salla allahu `alayhi wa `alayhim

Allah’s blessings be upon him and them.

وَقَوْلُنَا مَا قَالُوٱ

wa qawluna ma qalwa

We say only that which they say

وَدِينُنَا مَا دَانُوٱ بِهِ

wa dinuna ma danu bihi

and we believe in only that in which they believe.

مَا قَالُوٱ بِهِ قُلْنَا

ma qalu bihi qulna

What they say is our saying,

وَمَا دَانُوٱ بِهِ دِنَّا

wa ma danu bihi dinna

what they profess is what we profess,

وَمَا أَنْكَرُوٱ أَنْكَرْنَا

wa ma ankaru ankarna

what they reject is what we reject,

وَمَنْ وَالَوْٱ وَالَيْنَا

wa man walaw walayna

those to whom they adhere are they to whom we adhere,

وَمَنْ عَادَوْٱ عَادَيْنَا

wa man `adaw `adayna

those whom they oppose are they whom we oppose,

وَمَنْ لَعَنُوٱ لَعَنَّا

wa man la`anu la`anna

those whom they curse are they whom we curse,

وَمَنْ تَبَرَّؤُٱ مِنهُ تَبَرَّأْنَا مِنْهُ

wa man tabarra'u minhu tabarra'na minhu

those whom they condemn are they whom we condemn,

وَمَنْ تَرَحَّمُوٱ عَلَيْهِ تَرَحَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ

wa man tarahhamu `alayhi tarahhamna `alayhi

and those to whom they pray for mercy are they to whom we pray for mercy.

آمَنَّا وَسَلَّمْنَا

amanna wa sallamna

We believe in, submit to,

وَرَضِينَا وَٱتَّبَعْنَا مَوَالِيَنَا

wa radina wattaba`na mawaliyana

accept, and follow our masters,

صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ

salawatu allahi `alayhim

Allah’s blessings be upon them.

اَللَّهُمَّ فَتِمِّمْ لَنَا ذٰلِكَ وَلاَ تَسْلُبْنَاهُ

allahumma fatammim lana dhalika wa la taslubnahu

O Allah, so, perfect this for us and do not deprive us of it.

وَٱجْعَلْهُ مُسْتَقِرّاً ثَابِتاً عِنْدَنَا

waj`alhu mustaqirran thabitan `indana

Make it well-established and fixed with us

وَلاَ تَجْعَلْهُ مُسْتَعَاراً

wa la taj`alhu musta`aran

and do not make it temporal (belief).

وَأَحْيِنَا مَا أَحْيَيْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ

wa ahyina ma ahyaytana `alayhi

Make us live on it (no matter how long You will make us to live)

وَأَمِتْنَا إِذَا أَمَتَّنَا عَلَيْهِ

wa amitna idha amattana `alayhi

and cause us to die on it (when You decide to terminate our lives).

آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَئِمَّتُنَا

alu muhammadin a'immatuna

Muhammad’s Household are our Imams;

فَبِهِمْ نَأْتَمُّ

fabihim na'tammu

so, we follow them

وَإِيَّاهُمْ نُوَالِي

wa iyyahum nuwali

and act loyally to them.

وَعَدُوَّهُمْ عَدُوَّ ٱللَّهِ نُعَادِي

wa `aduwwahum `aduwwa allahi nu`adi

We oppose their enemy, the enemy of Allah;

فَٱجْعَلْنَا مَعَهُمْ فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ

faj`alna ma`ahum fi alddunya wal'akhirati

so, (please) include us with them in this world and the Hereafter,

وَمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ

wa min almuqarrabina

and make us of those drawn near (to You),

فَإِنَّا بِذٰلِكَ رَاضُونَ

fa'inna bidhalika raduna

for we are satisfied with that.

يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhama alrrahimina

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

One may then prostrate oneself again and repeat each of the following statements one hundred times:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

alhamdu lillahi

All praise be to Allah.

شُكْراً لِلَّهِ

shukran lillahi

Thanks be to Allah.

Whoever does this aamal is similar to those who were present there and pledged allegiance to the Prophet of God and Ali. They will have the same rank as that of the honest ones who acknowledged God and His Prophet with their love for their Master on that day, and they will be like those who were martyred with the Prophet of God, the Commander of the Faithful (Ali), Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein. They will be like the noble ones who were in the tent of the Riser (ajtfs)1 from the Progeny of the Prophet and under his flag.

2 Raka' Salaah -Iqbal Aamal

It is recommended to do Ghusl and offer a two unit prayer half an hour before midday. At each unit, one should recite Surah al-Fatihah once, Surah al-Tawhid ten times, Ayah al-Kursi ten times, and Surah al-Qadr ten times.
The reward of practicing this act is equal, in the sight of Almighty Allah, to the rewards of one hundred thousand times of Hajj and one hundred thousand times of `Umrah. Almighty Allah will also grant all the worldly and religious needs of the performer with easiness and good health.
After completion of the prayer recite the following dua:

رَبَّنا إِنَّنا سَمِعْنا مُنادِياً يُنادِي لِلْإِيمانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا

Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed.

رَبَّنا فَاغْفِرْ لَنا ذُنُوبَنا وَ كَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئاتِنا وَ تَوَفَّنا مَعَ الْأَبْرارِ

Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Yourself our souls in the company of the righteous

رَبَّنا وَ آتِنا ما وَعَدْتَنا عَلى‌ رُسُلِكَ وَ لا تُخْزِنا يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ إِنَّكَ لا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعادَ

Our Lord! Grant us what You didst promise unto us through Your apostles, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For You never break Your promise.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ وَ كَفَى بِكَ شَهِيداً

O' my God! I take You as witness. You suffice as a witness for me

وَ أُشْهِدُ مَلَائِكَتَكَ وَ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَ سُكَّانَ سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَ أَرْضِكَ

I take Your angels, the carriers of Your Throne, the controllers of Your heavens and earth as witnesses

بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْمَعْبُودُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ مِنْ لَدُنْ عَرْشِكَ إِلَى قَرَارِ أَرْضِكَ‌

that You are God and there are no Gods but You

مَعْبُودٌ يُعْبَدُ سِوَاكَ إِلَّا بَاطِلٌ مُضْمَحِلٌّ غَيْرَ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ

You are the one besides whose Noble Face none is worshipped!

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْمَعْبُودُ لَا مَعْبُودَ سِوَاكَ تَعَالَيْتَ عَمَّا يَقُولُ الظَّالِمُونَ عُلُوّاً كَبِيراً

There is no God but You! O' He who is Worshipped and there is no one else to worship but You. You are Sublime and You are high indeed are You exalted above what the evil-doers say! "Exalted and Great (beyond measure)!"

وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَ رَسُولُكَ

And I bear witness that Muhammad is Your Servant and Your Prophet.

وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ وَلِيُّهُمْ وَ مَوْلَاهُمْ وَ مَوْلَايَ

I witness that Ali is the Commander of the Faithful. He is their friend, and master and he is my master.

رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا النِّدَاءَ وَ صَدَّقْنَا الْمُنَادِيَ رَسُولَكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

O' our Lord! We heard the call and acknowledge the caller who is Your Prophet (God's blessings be upon him and his family).

إِذْ نَادَى نِدَاءً عَنْكَ بِالَّذِي أَمَرْتَهُ أَنْ يُبَلِّغَ عَنْكَ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ مُوَالاةِ وَلِيِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

He called based on Your Order and declared the mastery of the Commander of the Faithful.

وَ حَذَّرْتُهُ وَ أَنْذَرْتَهُ إِنْ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ أَنْ تَسْخَطَ عَلَيْهِ

about which You had admonished him that You would be angry with him if he does not deliver this message

وَ أَنَّهُ إِذَا بَلَّغَ رِسَالَتَكَ [رِسَالاتِكَ‌] عَصَمْتَهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَنَادَى مُبَلِّغاً وَحْيَكَ وَ رِسَالاتِكَ

and that You will protect him from the people if he does. So he delivered this message and declared,

أَلَا مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ وَ مَنْ كُنْتُ وَلِيَّهُ فَعَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّهُ وَ مَنْ كُنْتُ نَبِيَّهُ فَعَلِيٌّ أَمِيرُهُ

"Whoever I am the Master of, Ali is the Master of. Whoever I am the Guardian of, Ali is the Guardian of! Whoever I am the Prophet of, Ali is the Commander of!"

رَبَّنَا قَدْ أَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَكَ النَّذِيرَ الْمُنْذِرَ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدَكَ الَّذِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ

O our Lord! We positively respond to the call of Muhammad - the conveyor of good tidings, the warner, Your servant whom You blessed

وَ جَعَلْتَهُ مَثَلًا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ

and established as an example for the Children of Israel

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا وَ اتَّبَعْنَا مَوْلَانَا وَ وَلِيَّنَا وَ هَادِيَنَا وَ دَاعِيَنَا وَ دَاعِيَ الْأَنَامِ

O' our Lord! We believe and follow our master, our guardian, our guide, the one who invites us and invites the people

وَ صِرَاطَكَ السَّوِيَّ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ وَ مَحَجَّتَكَ الْبَيْضَاءَ وَ سَبِيلَكَ الدَّاعِيَ إِلَيْكَ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ هُوَ وَ مَنِ اتَّبَعَهُ

and in Your Straight Path, Your Bright Path through which he and his followers call us to You

وَ سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ‌ بِوَلَايَتِهِ وَ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَ بِاتِّخَاذِ الْوَلَائِجِ مِنْ دُونِهِ

Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! Some doubt his Mastery and Order of their Lord by finding associates other than him

فَاشْهَدْ يَا إِلَهِي أَنَّ الْإِمَامَ الْهَادِيَ الْمُرْشِدَ الرَّشِيدَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

O' my God! Please bear witness that Ali ibn Abi Talib (God's blessing be upon him) is the Divine Leader – the guide, the guider and the guided

الَّذِي ذَكَرْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ قُلْتَ‌ وَ إِنَّهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتابِ لَدَيْنا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ‌

about whom You said the following in Your Book, "And verily, it is in the Mother of the Book, in Our Presence, high (in dignity), full of wisdom."

اللَّهُمَّ فَأَنَا نَشْهَدُ بِأَنَّهُ عَبْدُكَ الْهَادِي مِنْ بَعْدِ نَبِيِّكَ النَّذِيرُ الْمُنْذِرُ وَ الصِّرَاطُ الْمُسْتَقِيمُ

O' my God! We bear witness that he is Your Guiding Servant after Your Prophet – the conveyor of good tidings, the warner, the right path

وَ إِمَامُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ قَائِدُ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِينَ وَ حُجَّتُكَ الْبَالِغَةُ وَ لِسَانُكَ الْمُعَبِّرُ عَنْكَ فِي خَلْقِكَ

and the Divine Leader of the believers, leader of those with white-foreheads, Your Clear Proof, Your Speaking Tongue to the people on Your Behalf

وَ الْقَائِمُ بِالْقِسْطِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّكَ وَ دَيَّانُ دِينِكَ وَ خَازِنُ عِلْمِكَ وَ عَيْبَةُ وَحْيِكَ

one standing firm on justice after Your Prophet who propagates Your Religion, the Treasure of Your Knowledge, the seat of Your Revelations

وَ عَبْدُكَ وَ أَمِينُكَ الْمَأْمُونُ الْمَأْخُوذُ مِيثَاقُهُ مَعَ مِيثَاقِكَ وَ مِيثَاقِ رُسُلِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

Your Servant, Your Trusted One, who has made a covenant when You took covenant from Your Messengers

وَ بَرِيَّتِكَ بِالشَّهَادَةِ وَ الْإِخْلَاصِ بِالْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

witnessing to and sincere in his belief of Your Oneness. For You are God, There is no God but You

وَ مُحَمَّدٌ عَبْدُكَ وَ رَسُولُكَ وَ عَلِيٌّ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ جَعَلْتَ الْإِقْرَارَ بِوَلَايَتِهِ تَمَامَ تَوْحِيدِكَ

Muhammad is Your Servant and Prophet. And Ali is the Commander of the Faithful. You established confessing to His Mastery as the perfection of belief in Your Oneness

وَ الْإِخْلَاصَ لَكَ بِوَحْدَانِيَّتِكَ وَ إِكْمَالَ دِينِكَ وَ تَمَامَ نِعْمَتِكَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ

and sincerity for you and the completion of Your Religion and the perfection of Your Blessings for all Your creatures

فَقُلْتَ وَ قَوْلُكَ الْحَقُ‌ الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَ أَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَ رَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلامَ‌ دِيناً

You said the following and whatever you say is right. "This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion."

فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَا مَنَنْتَ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا مِنَ الْإِخْلَاصِ لَكَ بِوَحْدَانِيَّتِكَ

Praise belongs to You for Your Favor upon us in sincere utterance of Your Oneness

وَ جُدْتَ عَلَيْنَا بِمُوَالاةِ وَلِيِّكَ الْهَادِي مِنْ بَعْدِ نَبِيِّكَ النَّذِيرِ الْمُنْذِرِ

and the Mastery of Your Friend upon us after Your Prophet - the one who gives good tidings, the one who warns

وَ رَضِيتَ لَنَا الْإِسْلَامَ دِيناً بِمَوْلَانَا وَ أَتْمَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا نِعْمَتَكَ بِالَّذِي جَدَّدْتَ لَنَا عَهْدَكَ وَ مِيثَاقَكَ وَ ذَكَّرْتَنَا ذَلِكَ

You were pleased with Islam as our Religion due to our master, and perfected Your Blessings with the renewal of Your Promise and Covenant, and its reminder

وَ جَعَلْتَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِخْلَاصِ وَ التَّصْدِيقِ لِعَهْدِكَ وَ مِيثَاقِكَ وَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْوَفَاءِ بِذَلِكَ

Let us be amongst the sincere ones who acknowledge Your Promise and Covenant, who adhere to this

وَ لَمْ تَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ النَّاكِثِينَ وَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ الْجَاحِدِينَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ

and do not let us be amongst the deserters and those who refute the Day of Judgment

وَ لَمْ تَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُغَيِّرِينَ وَ الْمُبَدِّلِينَ وَ الْمُنْحَرِفِينَ [وَ الْمُحَرِّفِينَ‌] وَ الْمُبَتِّكِينَ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ

Do not place us amongst those who change and manipulate things, who cut the ears of the animals,

وَ الْمُغَيِّرِينَ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ وَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ‌ اسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْهِمُ الشَّيْطانُ فَأَنْساهُمْ ذِكْرَ اللَّهِ‌ وَ صَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَ الصِّرَاطِ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ

change Gods Creation who have been overcome by Satan, have forgotten Gods Remembrance and have deviated from the Right Path.

Then repeat many times:

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْجَاحِدِينَ وَ النَّاكِثِينَ وَ الْمُغَيِّرِينَ وَ الْمُبَدِّلِينَ وَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ‌ الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ‌ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَ الْآخِرِينَ

O' my God! Please damn those who deny God, the deserters, the ones who change, the liars and those who refute - those who lie about the Resurrection Day from the first and the last generations.

Then say:

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى نِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيْنَا بِالَّذِي هَدَيْتَنَا إِلَى مُوَالاةِ وُلَاةِ أَمْرِكَ مِنْ بَعْدِ نَبِيِّكَ

O' my God! Praise belongs to You over Your Blessings to us that which You guided us towards friendship with those in charge of Your Affairs after Your Prophet

وَ الْأَئِمَّةِ الْهَادِينَ الَّذِينَ جَعَلْتَهُمْ أَرْكَاناً لِتَوْحِيدِكَ وَ أَعْلَامَ الْهُدَى وَ مَنَارَ التَّقْوَى وَ الْعُرْوَةَ الْوُثْقَى

and the guiding Divine Leaders whom You established as the pillars of the profession of Your Unity, signs of true guidance, pillars of virtue, the most trustworthy strong-holds

وَ كَمَالَ دِينِكَ وَ تَمَامَ نِعْمَتِكَ وَ مَنْ بِهِمْ وَ بِمُوَالاتِهِمْ رَضِيتَ لَنَا الْإِسْلَامَ دِيناً

the perfection of Your Religion, the completion of Your Blessings, those by whom and through whose Mastery You chose Islam as our religion.

رَبَّنَا فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ آمَنَّا بِكَ وَ صَدَّقْنَا نَبِيَّكَ الرَّسُولَ النَّذِيرَ الْمُنْذِرَ

O' our Lord! Praise belongs to You. We believe in You and we certify Your Prophet – the Messenger, the one who gives good tidings, the one who warns.

وَ اتَّبَعْنَا الْهَادِيَ مِنْ بَعْدِ النَّذِيرِ الْمُنْذِرِ وَالَيْنَا وَلِيَّهُمْ وَ عَادَيْنَا عَدُوَّهُمْ

We follow the guides after the one who gives good tidings, the one who warns. We shall be friends with their friends and enemy of their enemies

وَ بَرِئْنَا مِنَ الْجَاحِدِينَ وَ النَّاكِثِينَ وَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ

Please separate us from those who deny God, the deserters and those who refute the Day of the Judgment.

اللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا كَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ يَا صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ يَا مَنْ‌ لا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعادَ

O' my God! O' Truthful in promise! O' He who never breaks His Promise.

يَا مَنْ هُوَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ فِي شَأْنٍ أَنْ أَتْمَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا نِعْمَتَكَ بِمُوَالاةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ الْمَسْئُولِ عَنْهُمْ عِبَادُكَ

O' He who shines in Splendour every day! It was You who completed Your Blessings for us by the Mastery of Your Friends - those to whom Your Servants are responsible,

فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ‌ ثُمَّ لَتُسْئَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ‌ وَ قُلْتَ‌ وَ قِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ مَسْؤُلُونَ‌

since You have said, "Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!)." and said, "But stop them, for they must be asked:"

وَ مَنَنْتَ بِشَهَادَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ لَكَ بِوَلَايَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ الْهُدَاةِ مِنْ بَعْدِ النَّذِيرِ الْمُنْذِرِ السِّرَاجِ الْمُنِيرِ

You Favoured with sincere testimony to the Mastery of Your Friends who are the ones who give good tidings, the ones who warn, and the luminous lanterns.

وَ أَكْمَلْتَ لَنَا الدِّينَ بِمُوَالاتِهِمْ وَ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ عَدُوِّهِمْ وَ أَتْمَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا النِّعَمَ بِالَّذِي جَدَّدْتَ لَنَا عَهْدَكَ

You perfected the Religion by their Mastery and disowning their enemies.

وَ ذَكَّرْتَنَا مِيثَاقَكَ الْمَأْخُوذَ مِنَّا فِي ابْتِدَاءِ [مُبْتَدَإِ] خَلْقِكَ إِيَّانَا

You perfected the Blessings for us by renewing their Covenant and by reminding us of our testimony in the beginning of Creation.

وَ جَعَلْتَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِجَابَةِ وَ ذَكَّرْتَنَا الْعَهْدَ وَ الْمِيثَاقَ وَ لَمْ تُنْسِنَا ذِكْرَكَ

You let us be of those who answer in the positive, and reminded us about our promise and covenant, and did not let us forget it

فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ‌ وَ إِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ مِنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَ أَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلى‌ أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قالُوا بَلى‌ شَهِدْنا بِمَنِّكَ

and said, "When Your Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?"-

بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ رَبُّنَا وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدَكَ وَ رَسُولَكَ نَبِيُّنَا

"Yea! We do testify!"We bear witness to Your Favor that You are God. There are no Gods but You. You are our Lord and Your Servant and Prophet Muhammad is our Prophet.

وَ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلِيُّنَا وَ مَوْلَانَا

We bear witness that the Commander of the Faithful Ali is our Guardian and Master.

وَ شَهِدْنَا بِالْوَلَايَةِ لِوَلِيِّنَا وَ مَوْلَانَا مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ مِنْ صُلْبِ وَلِيِّنَا وَ مَوْلَانَا

We bear witness to the Mastery of our Master and our Guardian from the progeny of Your Prophet, and from the lineage of our Master -

عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَبْدِكَ الَّذِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ وَ جَعَلْتَهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْكَ عَلِيّاً حَكِيماً

the Commander of the Faithful Ali ibn Abi Talib - who is Your Servant whom You blessed! You established him as Knowing and Wise in the Mother of the Book that is near You

وَ جَعَلْتَهُ آيَةً لِنَبِيِّكَ وَ آيَةً مِنْ آيَاتِكَ الْكُبْرَى

and established him as a sign for Your Prophet and as one of the main signs

وَ الَنَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ‌ الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ‌

He is the great news about whom many people had differences

وَ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ الَّذِي هُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ وَ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَسْئُولُونَ

He is that great news from which they turned their faces away and about which they shall be questioned on the Resurrection Day

وَ تَمَامَ نِعْمَتِكَ الَّتِي عَنْهَا يُسْأَلُ عِبَادُكَ إِذْ هُمْ مَوْقُوفُونَ وَ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ مَسْئُولُونَ

He is the Perfection of Your Blessings for whom Your Servants shall be stopped and questioned.

اللَّهُمَّ وَ كَمَا كَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ مَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا بِالْهِدَايَةِ إِلَى مَعْرِفَتِهِمْ فَلْيَكُنْ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ

O' my God! As You honored us with the blessing of being guided to their recognition, please honor us

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تُبَارِكَ لَنَا فِي يَوْمِنَا هَذَا الَّذِي ذَكَّرْتَنَا فِيهِ عَهْدَكَ وَ مِيثَاقَكَ

and bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny, bless us on this day in which You reminded us of Your Promise and Your Covenant! Please complete our religion and perfect Your Blessings for us.

وَ أَكْمَلْتَ لَنَا دِينَنَا وَ أَتْمَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا نِعْمَتَكَ وَ جَعَلْتَنَا بِنِعْمَتِكَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِجَابَةِ وَ الْإِخْلَاصِ بِوَحْدَانِيَّتِكَ

Please let us be amongst those whose prayers are answered and are sincere in their belief to Your Oneness,

وَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِيمَانِ وَ التَّصْدِيقِ بِوَلَايَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكَ وَ أَعْدَاءِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ الْجَاحِدِينَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ

and those with true faith, acknowledsging the Mastery of Your Friends, and disowning Your enemies, the enemies of Your Friends, those who deny God and thos who refute the Day of the Judgment

فَأَسْأَلُكَ يَا رَبِّ تَمَامَ مَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعَانِدِينَ وَ لَا تُلْحِقْنَا بِالْمُكَذِّبِينَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ

O' Lord! I ask You for the perfection of the Blessings which You have granted us. Please do not let us be amongst those who oppose and do not let us join those who refute the Day of the Judgment

وَ اجْعَلْ لَنَا قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَ اجْعَلْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً

Please let us take a true step along with the virtous ones. Please grant us mercy from Your own Presence

وَ اجْعَلْ لَنَا مِنْ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَاماً إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ يَوْمَ يُدْعَى كُلُّ أُنَاسٍ بِإِمَامِهِمْ

and let us have a leader from the pious people until the Judgment Day - the day on which all the people are called along with their leaders

وَ اجْعَلْنَا فِي ظِلِّ الْقَوْمِ الْمُتَّقِينَ الْهُدَاةِ بَعْدَ النَّذِيرِ الْمُنْذِرِ وَ الْبَشِيرِ الْأَئِمَّةِ الدُّعَاةِ إِلَى الْهُدَى

And place us in the shade of the pious people – the guides after the conveyor of good tidings, the warners, the Divine Leaders who invite to guidance

وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ الدُّعَاةِ إِلَى النَّارِ وَ هُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُمْ‌ مِنَ الْمَقْبُوحِينَ‌

Please do not let us be amongst the liars who invite towards the Fire and are disgraced along with their friends on the Resurrection Day

رَبَّنَا فَاحْشُرْنَا فِي زُمْرَةِ الْهَادِي الْمَهْدِيِّ

O our Lord! Please resurrect us amongst those who are guided

وَ أَحْيِنَا مَا أَحْيَيْتَنَا عَلَى الْوَفَاءِ بِعَهْدِكَ وَ مِيثَاقِكَ الْمَأْخُوذِ مِنَّا عَلَى مُوَالاةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ

and resurrect us when You do so faithfulness to Your Pledge and the Covenat taken from us regarding friendship with Your Trustees

وَ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ وَ النَّاكِثِينَ بِمِيثَاقِكَ وَ تَوَفَّنَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ

and disowning from Your enemies who refute the Day of Judgment, and the deserters of Your Covenant, and let us die in this way.

وَ اجْعَلْ لَنَا مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا وَ أَثْبِتْ لَنَا قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْهِجْرَةِ إِلَيْهِمْ

Please keep us on the path of the Messenger and please firmly establish our true steps in immigration to them

وَ اجْعَلْ مَحْيَانَا خَيْرَ الْمَحْيَا وَ مَمَاتَنَا خَيْرَ الْمَمَاتِ وَ مُنْقَلَبَنَا خَيْرَ الْمُنْقَلَبِ عَلَى مُوَالاةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ

Please let our lives be the best lives and let our deaths be the best deaths and let our transformations be the best transformations- in love for Your Friends

وَ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكَ حَتَّى تَتَوَفَّانَا وَ أَنْتَ عَنَّا رَاضٍ قَدْ أَوْجَبْتَ لَنَا الْخُلُودُ فِي جَنَّتِك‌ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

and disowning from Your Enemies until You take away our lives with You pleased with us: And make our entry into Paradise a sure thing out of Your Mercy

وَ الْمَثْوَى فِي جِوَارِكَ وَ الْإِنَابَةَ إِلَى دَارِ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ‌ لا يَمَسُّنا فِيها نَصَبٌ وَ لا يَمَسُّنا فِيها لُغُوبٌ

and let us reside by You and turn to the House of Permanence out of Your Nobility! without and hardship or strenuous efforts theirs

‌ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ أَمَرْتَنَا بِطَاعَةِ وُلَاةِ أَمْرِكَ وَ أَمَرْتَنَا أَنْ نَكُونَ مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ

O Our Lord! You ordered us to obey him and obey those in charge of Your Affairs.

فَقُلْتَ‌ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَ أَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ‌

You ordered us and said, "Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you."

وَ قُلْتَ‌ يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَ كُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ‌

You also said, "O' ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed)."

رَبَّنَا سَمِعْنَا وَ أَطَعْنَا رَبَّنَا ثَبِّتْ أَقْدامَنا وَ تَوَفَّنا مَعَ الْأَبْرارِ مُسْلِمِينَ مُسَلِّمِينَ مُصَدِّقِينَ لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ

Our Lord! We hear and obey. Our Lord! Please firmly establish our steps amd take to Yourself our souls in the company of the righteous as true Muslims who acknowledge Your Friends

وَ لا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنا وَ هَبْ لَنا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ‌

Our Lord! "(they say), "Let not our hearts deviate now after You have guided us, but grant us mercy from Your own Presence; for You are the Grantor of bounties without measure."

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِكَ وَ صَدَّقْنَا نَبِيَّكَ وَ وَالَيْنَا وَلِيَّكَ وَ الْأَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ بَعْدِ نَبِيِّكَ وَ وَلِيَّكَ مَوْلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ

O our Lord! We believe in You and we acknowledge Your Prophet: Your Friend and those after Your Prophet are our Guardians. And Your Friend is the master of the believers Ali ibn Abi Talib (God's blessing be upon him) -

وَ الْإِمَامَ الْهَادِيَ مِنْ بَعْدِ الرَّسُولِ النَّذِيرِ الْمُنْذِرِ السِّرَاجِ الْمُنِيرِ

-the Divine Leader –the guide after the Prophet - the conveyor of good tidings, the warner, and the luminous lantern

رَبَّنَا فَكَمَا كَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ أَنْ جَعَلْتَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْوَفَاءِ بِعَهْدِكَ بِمَنِّكَ عَلَيْنَا وَ لُطْفِكَ لَنَا

O our Lord! You have let us be faithful to Your Pledge by Your Favor and Kindness to us.

فَلْيَكُنْ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَ تُكَفِّرَ عَنَّا سَيِّئاتِنا وَ تَوَفَّنا مَعَ الْأَبْرارِ

So please "Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Yourself our souls in the company of the righteous

Our Lord! Grant us what You didst promise unto us through Your apostles, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For You never breakest Your promise."

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِكَ وَ وَفَيْنَا بِعَهْدِكَ وَ صَدَّقْنَا رُسُلَكَ وَ اتَّبَعْنَا وُلَاةَ الْأَمْرِ مِنْ بَعْدِ رُسُلِكَ

O‟ our Lord! We believe in You, we are loyal to Your pledge and we acknowledge Your Prophet. We follow those in charge of the affairs after Your Prophet

وَ وَالَيْنَا أَوْلِيَاءَكَ وَ عَادَيْنَا أَعْدَاءَكَ‌ فَاكْتُبْنا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

we shall be friends with Your Friends and we shall oppose Your enemies. Please then write us down amongst those who bear witness

‌ وَ احْشُرْنَا مَعَ الْأَئِمَّةِ الْهُدَاةِ مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّسُولِ الْبَشِيرِ النَّذِيرِ

And resurrect us along with the Leaders to Guidance from the Progeny of Prophet Muhammad - the conveyor of good tidings, the warner

آمَنَّا يَا رَبِّ بِسِرِّهِمْ وَ عَلَانِيَتِهِمْ وَ شَاهِدِهِمْ وَ غَائِبِهِمْ وَ مَشَاهِدِهِمْ وَ بِحَيِّهِمْ وَ مَيِّتِهِمْ

O' Lord! We believe in them private or public, present or absent, living or dead!

وَ رَضِينَا بِهِمْ أَئِمَّةً وَ سَادَةً وَ قَادَةً لَا نَبْتَغِي بِهِمْ بَدَلًا وَ لَا نَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ وَلَائِجَ أَبَداً

We are pleased with them as our Divine Leaders and Masters. We shall never seek anyone but them, and shall not take any confidants but them.

رَبَّنَا فَأَحْيِنَا مَا أَحْيَيْتَنَا عَلَى مُوَالاتِهِمْ وَ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَعْدَائِهِمْ وَ التَّسْلِيمِ لَهُمْ وَ الرَّدِّ إِلَيْهِمْ

O' our Lord! Please let us live with their love, disowning their enemies, and submission to and obedience to them

وَ تَوَفَّنَا إِذَا تَوَفَّيْتَنَا عَلَى الْوَفَاءِ لَكَ وَ لَهُمْ بِالْعَهْدِ وَ الْمِيثَاقِ

Please let us die in a state of loyalty to them in promise and covenant for You

وَ الْمُوَالاةِ لَهُمْ وَ التَّصْدِيقِ وَ التَّسْلِيمِ لَهُمْ غَيْرَ جَاحِدِينَ وَ لَا نَاكِثِينَ وَ لَا مُكَذِّبِينَ

love for them, certifying and submitting to them - not those who deny God, the deserters and those who refute

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِالْحَقِّ الَّذِي جَعَلْتَهُ عِنْدَهُمْ وَ بِالَّذِي فَضَّلْتَهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ جَمِيعاً

O' my God! I ask You by the right that You put near them, and made them superior to all the people of the world.

أَنْ تُبَارِكَ لَنَا فِي يَوْمِنَا هَذَا الَّذِي أَكْرَمْتَنَا فِيهِ بِالْوَفَاءِ لِعَهْدِكَ الَّذِي عَهِدْتَ إِلَيْنَا

Please bless us on this day in which You honored us by acting upon Your Promise

وَ الْمِيثَاقِ الَّذِي وَاثَقْتَنَا بِهِ مِنْ مُوَالاةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكَ

and the Covenat to love Your Friends and dissociate from Your Enemies

وَ تَمُنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَ تَجْعَلَهُ عِنْدَنَا مُسْتَقَرّاً ثَابِتاً وَ لَا تَسْلُبْنَاهُ أَبَداً وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ عِنْدَنَا مُسْتَوْدَعاً

And favor us by granting us Your Bounties. Please make it a place of sojourn for us, and never take it away and do not let it be a place of departure for us

فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ‌ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَ مُسْتَوْدَعٌ‌ فَاجْعَلْهُ مُسْتَقَرّاً ثَابِتاً

as you said, "here is a place of sojourn and a place of departure." And let it be firmly established

وَ ارْزُقْنَا نَصْرَ دِينِكَ مَعَ وَلِيٍّ هَادٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ قَائِماً رَشِيداً هَادِياً مَهْدِيّاً مِنَ الضَّلَالَةِ إِلَى الْهُدَى

O' God! Please bless us with the victory of Your Religion with the guide from the Progeny of Your Prophet who shall rise to direct us out of deviation

وَ اجْعَلْنَا تَحْتَ رَايَتِهِ وَ فِي زُمْرَتِهِ شُهَدَاءَ صَادِقِينَ مَقْبُولِينَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ وَ عَلَى نُصْرَةِ دِينِكَ

Please put us under his flag and include us amongst the true martyrs killed in Your Path and in aiding Your Religion.

Then ask for the fulfillment of your needs for this world and the Hereafter.

Dua for the Day of Ghadir reported by Sayyid Ibn Tawus from Shaykh al-Mufid:

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّكَ

allahumma inni as'aluka bihaqqi muhammadin nabiyyika

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Muhammad, Your Prophet,

وَعَلِيٍّ وَلِيِّكَ

wa `aliyyin waliyyika

in the name of `Ali, Your Representative (wali),

وَٱلشَّأْنِ وَٱلْقَدْرِ ٱلَّذِي خَصَصْتْهُمَا بِه دُونَ خَلقِكَ

walshsha'ni walqadri alladhi khasastahuma bihi duna khalqika

and in the name of the stature and standing that You have given exclusively to them rather than Your other creatures,

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيٍّ

an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa `aliyyin

to send blessings to Muhammad and `Ali

وَأَنْ تَبْدَأَ بِهِمَا فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ عَاجِلٍ

wa an tabda'a bihima fi kulli khayrin `ajilin

and begin with both of them in any immediate item of goodness.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad;

ٱلأَئِمَّةِ ٱلْقَادَةِ

al'a'immati alqadati

the Imams, the leaders,

وَٱلدُّعَاةِ ٱلسَّادَةِ

walddu`ati alssadati

the promulgators (to You), the masters,

وَٱلنُّجُومِ ٱلزَّاهِرَةِ

walnnujumi alzzahirati

the shining stars,

وَٱلأَعْلاَمِ ٱلْبَاهِرَةِ

wal'a`lami albahirati

the splendid signs,

وَسَاسَةِ ٱلْعِبَادِ

wa sasati al`ibadi

the governors of the servants (of You),

وَأَرْكَانِ ٱلْبِلاَدِ

wa arkani albiladi

the pillars of the countries,

وَٱلنَّاقَةِ ٱلْمُرْسَلَةِ

walnnaqati almursalati

the (like of the) she-camel that was sent by You,

وَٱلسَّفِينَةِ ٱلنَّاجيَةِ

walssafinati alnnajiyati

and the ark that saves (from sinking in straying off from the right path)

ٱلْجَارِيَةِ فِي ٱلْلُّجَجِ ٱلْغَامِرَةِ

aljariyati fi allujaji alghamirati

and runs peacefully in the depths of oceans.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad;

خُزَّانِ عِلْمِكَ

khuzzani `ilmika

the keepers of Your knowledge,

وَأَرْكَانِ تَوْحِيدِكَ

wa arkani tawhidika

the pillars of the professing of Your Oneness,

وَدَعَائِمِ دِينِكَ

wa da`a'imi dinika

the supports of Your religion,

وَمَعَادِنِ كَرَامَتِكَ

wa ma`adini karamatika

the cores of Your honoring,

وَصِفْوَتِكَ مِنْ بَرِيَّتِكَ

wa safwatika min bariyyatika

the choicest among Your creatures,

وَخِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

wa khiyaratika min khalqika

the best of Your beings,

الأَتْقِيَاءِ ٱلأَنْقِيَاءِ

al'atqiya'i al'anqiya'i

the pious, the pure,

ٱلنُّجَبَاءِ ٱلأَبْرَارِ

alnnujaba'i al'abrari

the outstanding, the virtuous,

وَٱلْبَابِ ٱلْمُبْتَلَىٰ بِهِ ٱلنَّاسُ

walbabi almubtala bihi alnnasu

and the door that is decided as trial for people—

مَنْ أَتَاهُ نَجَىٰ

man atahu naja

he who comes through it shall be saved

وَمَنْ أَبَاهُ هَوَىٰ

wa man abahu hawa

but he who rejects it shall fail indeed.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad;

أَهْلِ ٱلذِّكْرِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَمَرْتَ بِمَسْأَلَتِهِمْ

ahli aldhdhikri alladhina amarta bimas'alatihim

the People of the Reminder whom You have ordered us to ask (when we do not know),

وَذَوِي ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ ٱلَّذينَ أَمَرْتَ بِمَوَدَّتِهِمْ

wa dhawi alqurba alladhina amarta bimawaddatihim

the near relatives (of the Holy Prophet) whom You have ordered us to love,

وَفَرَضْتَ حَقَّهُمْ

wa faradta haqqahum

whose rights You have made incumbent (upon us),

وَجَعَلْتَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ مَعَادَ مَنِ ٱقْتَصَّ آثَارَهُمْ

wa ja`alta aljannata ma`ada man iqtassa atharahum

and whom You have decided Paradise as the reward of whoever follows their patterns.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

كَمَا أَمَرُوٱ بِطَاعَتِكَ

kama amaru bita`atika

as they instructed (us) to obey You,

وَنَهَوْٱ عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ

wa nahaw `an ma`siyatika

warned (us) against disobeying You,

وَدَلُّوٱ عِبَادَكَ عَلَىٰ وَحْدَانِيَّتِكَ

wa dallu `ibadaka `ala wahdaniyyatika

and led Your servants to Your Oneness.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma inni as'aluka bihaqqi muhammadin

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Muhammad;

نَبِيِّكَ وَنَجِيبِكَ

nabiyyika wa najibika

Your Prophet, Your superior servant,

وَصَفْوَتِكَ وَأَمِينِكَ

wa safwatika wa aminika

Your choice, Your trusted one,

وَرَسُولِكَ إِلَىٰ خَلْقِكَ

wa rasulika ila khalqika

Your messenger to Your creatures;

وَبِحَقِّ أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

wa bihaqqi amiri almu'minina

and (I beseech You) in the name of the Commander of the Believers (Amir al-Mu'minin),

وَيَعْسُوبِ ٱلدِّينِ

wa ya`subi alddini

the chief of the religion,

وَقَائِدِ ٱلْغُرِّ ٱلْمُحَجَّلِينَ

wa qa'idi alghurri almuhajjalina

the leader of the white-faced and marked on the foreheads,

ٱلْوَصِيِّ ٱلْوَفِيِّ

alwasiyyi alwafiyyi

the faithful, the loyal,

وَٱلصِّدِّيقِ ٱلأَكْبَرِ

walssiddiqi al'akbari

the greatest veracious,

وَٱلْفَارُوقِ بَيْنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَٱلْبَاطِلِ

walfaruqi bayna alhaqqi walbatili

the distinguisher between the right and the wrong,

وَٱلشَّاهِدِ لَكَ

walshshahidi laka

the witness for You,

وَٱلدَّالِّ عَلَيْكَ

walddalli `alayka

the guide to You,

وَٱلصَّادِعِ بِأَمْرِكَ

walssadi`i bi'amrika

the expounder of what You have commanded,

وَٱلْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِكَ

walmujahidi fi sabilika

the striver in Your way,

لَمْ تَأْخُذْهُ فِيكَ لَوْمَةُ لاَئِمٍ

lam ta'khudhhu fika lawmatu la'imin

and who never listened to any word of blame for Your sake;

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

(I beseech You) to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي فِي هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ

wa an taj`alani fi hadha alyawmi

to include me on this day

ٱلَّذِي عَقَدْتَ فِيهِ لِوَلِيِّكَ ٱلْعَهْدَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ خَلْقِكَ

alladhi `aqadta fihi liwaliyyika al`ahda fi a`naqi khalqika

on which You established the pledge to Your Representative in the necks of Your servants

وَأَكْمَلْتَ لَهُمُ ٱلدِّينَ

wa akmalta lahum alddina

and You thus perfected the religion for them,

مِنَ ٱلْعَارِفِينَ بِحُرْمَتِهِ

min al`arifina bihurmatihi

(to include me) with those who recognize the actual sanctity of him

وَٱلْمُقِرِّينَ بِفَضْلِهِ

walmuqirrina bifadlihi

and those who acknowledge his precedence,

مِنْ عُتَقَائِكَ وَطُلَقَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

min `utaqa'ika wa tulaqa'ika min alnnari

and to include me with those whom You decide to release from Hellfire.

وَلاَ تُشْمِتْ بِي حَاسِدِي ٱلنِّعَمِ

wa la tushmit bi hasidi alnni`ami

(Please) do not let those who envy the bounties (that You confer upon certain persons) rejoice at my misfortunes.

اَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا جَعَلْتَهُ عِيدَكَ ٱلأَكْبَرَ

allahumma fakama ja`altahu `idaka al'akbara

O Allah, as You have made this day Your greatest feast day,

وَسَمَّيْتَهُ فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ يَوْمَ ٱلْعَهْدِ ٱلْمَعْهُودِ

wa sammaytahu fi alssama'i yawma al`ahdi alma`hudi

You have named it “the Day of the Promised Covenant” in the heavens,

وَفِي ٱلأَرْضِ يَوْمَ ٱلْمِيثَاقِ ٱلْمَأْخُوذِ وَٱلْجَمْعِ ٱلْمَسْؤُولِ

wa fi al'ardi yawma almithaqi alma'khudhi waljam`i almas'uli

and You have named it “the Day of the Exacted Covenant and the Witnessed Crowd” in the earth,

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

(please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

وَأَقْرِرْ بِهِ عُيُونَنَا

wa aqrir bihi `uyunana

give us delight of our eyes through him,

وَٱجْمَعْ بِهِ شَمْلَنَا

wajma` bihi shamlana

reunify us through him,

وَلاَ تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا

wa la tudillana ba`da idh hadaytana

do not mislead us after You have guided us to the right path,

وَٱجْعَلْنَا لأَنْعُمِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ

waj`alna li'an`umika min alshshakirina

and make us of those who thank Your bounties.

يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

ya arhama alrrahimina

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي عَرَّفَنَا فَضْلَ هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ

alhamdu lillahi alladhi `arrafana fadla hadha alyawmi

All praise be to Allah Who has made us recognize the merit of this day,

وَبَصَّرَنَا حُرْمَتَهُ

wa bassarana hurmatahu

attracted our attentions to its sanctity,

وَكَرَّمَنَا بِهِ

wa karramana bihi

honored us on it,

وَشَرَّفَنَا بِمَعْرِفَتِهِ

wa sharrafana bima`rifatihi

ennobled us through our recognition of it,

وَهَدَانَا بِنُورِهِ

wa hadana binurihi

and guided us through its light.

يَا رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ

ya rasula allahi

O Messenger of Allah!

يَا أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنينَ

ya amira almu'minina

O Commander of the Believers!

عَلَيْكُمَا وَعَلَىٰ عِتْرَتِكُمَا

`alaykuma wa `ala `itratikuma

Upon you, your household,

وَعَلَىٰ مُحِبِّيكُمَا مِنِّي أَفْضَلُ ٱلسَّلاَمِ

wa `ala muhibbikuma minni afdalu alssalami

and your followers be the most excellent peace

مَا بَقِيَ ٱللَّيْلُ وَٱلنَّهَارُ

ma baqiya allaylu walnnaharu

so long as night and day endure.

وَبِكُمَا أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمَا

wa bikuma atawajjahu ila allahi rabbi wa rabbikuma

Through you both do I direct toward Allah, my Lord and Your Lord,

فِي نَجَاحِ طَلِبَتِي

fi najahi talibti

(and I beseech Him) to respond to my requests,

وَقَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِي

wa qada'i hawa'iji

settle my needs,

وَتَيْسِيرِ أُمُورِي

wa taysiri umuri

and make easy all my affairs.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma inni as'aluka bihaqqi muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

وَأَنْ تَلْعَنَ مَنْ جَحَدَ حَقَّ هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ

wa an tal`ana man jahada haqqa hadha alyawmi

and curse whoever denies the holiness of this day

وَأَنْكَرَ حُرْمَتَهُ

wa ankara hurmatahu

and denies its sanctity;

فَصَدَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ لإِطْفَاءِ نُورِكَ

fasadda `an sabilika li'itfa'i nurika

thus, he hindered from Your way intending to extinguish Your light,

فَأَبَىٰ ٱللَّهُ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ

fa'aba allahu illa an yutimma nurahu

but Allah will not consent save to perfect His light.

اَللَّهُمَّ فَرِّجْ عَنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّكَ

allahumma farrij `an ahli bayti muhammadin nabiyyika

O Allah, (please do) relieve misfortunes from the Household of Muhammad, Your Prophet

وَٱكْشِفْ عَنْهُمْ وَبِهِمْ عَنِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱلْكُرُبَاتِ

wakshif `anhum wa bihim `an almu'minina alkurubati

and relieve the anguishes of them and of the believers through them.

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱمْلأِ ٱلأَرْضَ بِهِمْ عَدْلاًَ

allahumma imla' al'arda bihim `adlan

O Allah, (please do) fill the earth with justice through them

كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْماً وَجُوْراً

kama muli'at zulman wa jawran

just as it has been full with injustice and unfairness,

وَ أَنْجِز لَهُمْ مَا وَعَدْتَهُمْ

wa anjiz lahum ma wa`adtahum

and (please do) fulfill Your promise to them,

إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ

innaka la tukhlifu almi`ada

for You surely do not break Your promises.

Three ziarats can be recited on Ghadeer day,
i)Long one describing most events in Imam's lifetime ,ii) the short one from Iqbal Aamal and iii)the famous Ziarat Ameenullah

i and ii)Ziyarah of Imam Ali(as) on Ghadir Full and Shorter version

and/or iii) Ziyarat Ameenullah

Iqbal Aamal-'The following 2 supplications for the day of Eid ul-Ghadir were found in an old book on worshipping.'

Dua 1 | Long Dua 2

On supplications for the day of Eid ul-Ghadir narrated from a different source.

اللَّهُمَّ بِنُورِكَ اهْتَدَيْتُ وَ بِفَضْلِكَ اسْتَغْنَيْتُ وَ قُلْتَ وَ قَوْلُكَ الْحَقُ‌

"O' my God!I was guided by Your Light and became needless by Your Bounties.

وَ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ جاؤُكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا اللَّهَ وَ اسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا اللَّهَ تَوَّاباً رَحِيماً

You said the following and indeed whatever you say is right, "If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come unto You and asked Allah's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful."4:64

وَ قُلْتَ‌ ما يَعْبَؤُا بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْ لا دُعاؤُكُمْ‌ وَ قُلْتَ‌ وَ إِذا سَأَلَكَ عِبادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذا دَعانِ‌

And You said, "When My servants ask You concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me:"2:186 O'

اللَّهُمَّ فَإِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ وَ أُشْهِدُكَ وَ أُشْهِدُ مَلَائِكَتَكَ أَنَّكَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ

my God! I ask You and I take You as witness and I take Your angels as witness that You are my Lord! There is no God but You.In You I have placed my trust.

وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدَكَ وَ رَسُولَكَ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ نَبِيِّي

And I bear witness that Muhammad (MGB) is Your servant and Your Prophet.

وَ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَوْلَايَ وَ وَلِيِّي عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ السَّلَامُ

And I bear witness that Ali – the Commander of the Faithful (MGB) is my Guardian and my Master.

أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَ فِي هَذَا الْوَقْتِ مَا سَلَفَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي وَ تُصْلِحَنِي فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمُرِي

I ask You to forgive me today, and at this very same moment.

اللَّهُمَّ إِيمَاناً بِكَ وَ تَصْدِيقاً بِوَعْدِكَ حَتَّى أَكُونَ عَلَى النَّهْجِ الَّذِي تَرْضَاهُ وَ الطَّرِيقِ الَّذِي تُحِبُّهُ فَإِنَّكَ عُدَّتِي عِنْدَ شِدَّتِي وَ وَلِيُّ نِعْمَتِي

Please forgive all my past sins and improve my affairs for the rest of my lifetime.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ نَفْحَةً مِنْ نَفَحَاتِكَ كَرِيمَةً تَلُمُّ بِهَا شَعَثِي‌

O' my God! I believe in You, and acknowledge Your Promise to be the way You Please and go in a way that You like as indeed You are my Supporter at times of hardship and You are the Guardian of my blessings!

وَ تُصْلِحُ بِهَا شَأْنِي وَ تُوَسِّعُ بِهَا رِزْقِي وَ تَقْضِي بِهَا دَيْنِي وَ تُعِينُنِي بِهَا عَلَى جَمِيعِ أُمُورِي فَإِنَّكَ عِنْدَ شِدَّتِي

O' my God! I ask You for a blow of Your Benevolent and Merciful Blows with which to relieve my distress, improve status, extend my sustenance, repay my debts, and help me in all my affairs since You are my support at times of hardship.

فَأَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تُصْلِحَ لِي أَحْوَالَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

I also ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny to improve the conditions of this world and the Hereafter for me.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ وَ لَمْ يَسْأَلِ السَّائِلُونَ أَكْرَمَ مِنْكَ وَ أَطْلُبُ إِلَيْكَ وَ لَمْ يَطْلُبِ الطَّالِبُونَ إِلَى أَحَدٍ أَجْوَدَ مِنْكَ

O' my God! I ask You and those who ask do not ask anyone more benevolent than You are.

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تُبَلِّغَنِي فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ أُمْنِيَّةَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

I demand You and those who demand do not demand anyone who is more generous than You are.

اللَّهُمَّ فَارِجَ الْغَمِّ وَ مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ

Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny and grant me security in this world and the Hereafter.

اللَّهُمَّ فَارِجَ الْغَمِّ إِنِّي مَغْمُومٌ فَفَرِّجْ عَنِّي

O' my God! O' He who comforts sorrow! O' the Responder to the cries of the distressed needy!I am sorrowful. Please remove my sorrow.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي مَهْمُومٌ فَاكْشِفْ هَمِّي

O' my God! I am grievous so please remove my sorrow!

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي مُضْطَرٌّ فَسَهِّلْ لِي

O' my God! I am distressed so please ease my affairs.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي مَدْيُونٌ فَاقْضِ دَيْنِي

O' my God! I am in debt so please pay back my debts.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ضَعِيفٌ فَقَوِّ ضَعْفِي

O' God! I am weak so please strenghten my weakness.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ رِزْقِكَ رِزْقاً وَاسِعاً حَلَالًا طَيِّباً أَسْتَعِينُ بِهِ وَ أَعِيشُ بِهِ بَيْنَ خَلْقِكَ رِزْقاً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ لَا أَبْذُلُ فِيهِ وَجْهِي لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ أَنْتَ حَسْبِي‌ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ‌

O' my God! I ask You to bless me with abundant, legitimately earned and pure sustenance so that I may be helped and use it to live amongst Your Creatures. Sustenance from You for which I do not have to face any of Your Creatures. You are sufficient for me and in You I trust.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ لِوَالِدَيَّ وَ مَا وَلَدَا وَ أَهْلِ قَرَابَتِي [قَرَابَاتِي‌] وَ إِخْوَانِي مَنْ عَرَفْتُ وَ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْ

O' my God! Please forgive me, my parents, my offspring, my relatives, and my brethren - whether I know them or not.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْزِهِمْ بِأَحْسَنِ أَعْمَالِهِمْ وَ أَوْصِلْ إِلَيْهِمُ الرَّحْمَةَ وَ السُّرُورَ

O' my God! Please give them the best reward for their deeds, and send them mercy and pleasure.

وَ احْشُرْهُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِكَ وَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ أَوْلِيَائِهِمْ‌ إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Please resurrect them with Your Prophet, the Commander of the Faithful and their friends as indeed You have Power over all things.

اللَّهُمَّ مالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشاءُ وَ تَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشاءُ وَ تُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشاءُ وَ تُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشاءُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ.

O' my God! Lord of Power (and Rule)! You give power to whom You please, and You strip off power from whom You please: You endue with honour whom You please, and You bring low whom You please: In Your hand is all good. Verily, over all things You have power.

LONG DUA -2 IQBAL AAMAL

وَ مِنَ الدَّعَوَاتِ فِي يَوْمِ الْغَدِيرِ مَا وَجَدْنَاهُ فِي نُسْخَةٍ عَتِيقَةٍ مِنْ كُتُبِ الْعِبَادَاتِ‌

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ وَ رَبَّ النُّورِ الْعَظِيمِ وَ رَبَ‌ الْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ وَ رَبَّ الشَّفْعِ الْكَبِيرِ وَ رَبَّ الْوَتْرِ الرَّفِيعِ سُبْحَانَكَ مُنْزِلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَ الْإِنْجِيلِ وَ الزَّبُورِ وَ الْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيمِ إِلَهَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَ إِلَهَ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ لَا إِلَهَ [إِلَّا هُوَ] فِيهِمَا غَيْرُكَ جَبَّارَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ لَا جَبَّارَ فِيهِمَا غَيْرُكَ مَلِكَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ [مَلِكَ مَنْ فِي‌] الْأَرْضِ لَا مَلِكَ فِيهِمَا غَيْرُكَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيمِ وَ بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَ بِمُلْكِكَ الْقَدِيمِ
وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي أَشْرَقَتْ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَ الْأَرَضُونَ
وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي أَصْلَحْتَ بِهِ أُمُورَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَ الْآخِرِينَ يَا حَيُّ قَبْلَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ يَا حَيُّ بَعْدَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ يَا حَيُّ حِينَ لَا حَيَّ إِلَّا أَنْتَ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا أَحَدُ يَا صَمَدُ يَا فَرْدُ يَا وَتْرُ يَا رَحْمَانُ يَا رَحِيمُ اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَ اجْعَلْ لَنَا مِنْ أُمُورِنَا فَرَجاً وَ مَخْرَجاً وَ اسْتَقْبِلْنَا عَلَى هُدَى نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ وَ اجْعَلْ عَمَلَنَا فِي الْمَرْفُوعِ الْمُتَقَبَّلِ وَ هَبْ لَنَا مَا وَهَبْتَ لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ أَهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ وَ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَإِنَّا بِكَ مُؤْمِنُونَ وَ عَلَيْكَ مُتَوَكِّلُونَ وَ مَصِيرُنَا إِلَيْكَ وَ اجْمَعْ لَنَا الْخَيْرَ كُلَّهُ بِحَوْلِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ وَ اصْرِفْ عَنَّا الشَّرَّ كُلَّهُ بِمَنِّكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ
يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ يَا بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ تُعْطِي الْخَيْرَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَ تَصْرِفُ الشَّرَّ عَمَّنْ تَشَاءُ أَعْطِنَا جَمِيعَ مَا سَأَلْنَاكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَ امْنُنْ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ إِنَّا إِلَيْكَ رَاغِبُونَ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
اللَّهُمَّ اشْرَحْ بِالْقُرْآنِ صَدْرِي وَ أَنْطِقْ بِالْقُرْآنِ لِسَانِي وَ نَوِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ بَصَرِي وَ اسْتَعْمِلْ بِالْقُرْآنِ بَدَنِي وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَيْهِ أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ يَا دَاحِيَ الْمَدْحُوَّاتِ [الْمَدْحِيَّاتِ‌] وَ يَا بَانِيَ الْمَبْنِيَّاتِ وَ يَا مُرْسِيَ الْمَرْسِيَّاتِ وَ يَا جَبَّارَ الْقُلُوبِ عَلَى فِطْرَتِهَا شَقِيِّهَا وَ سَعِيدِهَا وَ يَا بَاسِطَ الرَّحْمَةِ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ اجْعَلْ شَرَائِفَ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَ نَوَامِيَ بَرَكَاتِكَ وَ رَأْفَتِكَ‌ وَ تَحِيَّتِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ الْفَاتِحِ لِمَا انْغَلَقَ وَ الْخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ وَ فَاتِحِ الْحَقِّ بِالْحَقِّ وَ دَامِغِ جَيْشَاتِ الْأَبَاطِيلِ كَمَا حَمَّلْتَهُ فَاضْطَلَعَ بِأَمْرِكَ مُسْتَبْصِراً فِي رِضْوَانِكَ غَيْرَ نَاكِلٍ عَنْ قُدُمٍ وَ لَا مُنْثَنٍ عَنْ كَرَمٍ حَافِظاً لِعَهْدِكَ قَاضِياً لِنَفَاذِ أَمْرِكَ فَهُوَ أَمِينُكَ الْمَأْمُونُ وَ شَهِيدُكَ يَوْمَ الدِّينِ وَ بَعِيثُكَ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ فَافْسَحْ لَهُ مَفْسَحاً عِنْدَكَ وَ أَعْطِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ رِضَاهُ الرِّضَاءَ مِنْ نُورِ ثَوَابِكَ الْمَحْلُولِ وَ عَطَاءِ جَزَائِكَ الْمَعْلُولِ
اللَّهُمَّ أَتْمِمْ لَهُ وَعْدَهُ بِانْبِعَاثِكَ إِيَّاهُ مَقْبُولَ الشَّفَاعَةِ عِنْدَكَ مَرْضِيَّ الْمَقَالَةِ ذَا مَنْطِقِ عَدْلٍ وَ خُطْبَةِ فَصْلٍ وَ حُجَّةٍ وَ بُرْهَانٍ عَظِيمٍ
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا سَامِعِينَ مُطِيعِينَ وَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مُخْلَصِينَ وَ رُفَقَاءَ مُصَاحِبِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مِنَّا السَّلَامَ وَ ارْدُدْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْهُ السَّلَامَ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ضَعِيفٌ فَقَوِّ فِي رِضَاكَ ضَعْفِي وَ خُذْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ بِنَاصِيَتِي وَ اجْعَلِ الْإِسْلَامَ مُنْتَهَى رِضَاكَ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ضَعِيفٌ فَقَوِّنِي وَ إِنِّي ذَلِيلٌ فَأَعِزَّنِي وَ إِنِّي فَقِيرٌ فَارْزُقْنِي

"O' my God! O' Lord of the heavens and the earth! O' Lord of the Great Light! and the Lord of the ocean filled with swell! Lord of the great even and Lord of the high odd! Glory be to You - He who revealed the Torah, the Bible, the Psalms and the Grand Qur‟an! Lord of whatever is in the seven heavens! Lord of whatever is on the earth.
There are no other gods therein.
The Compeller of whatever is in the heavens and the earth.
There are no other compellers for them but You.
The King of all that is in the heavens, and the King of all that is in the earth.
There are no other kings therein but You.
O' my God! I ask You by Your Grand Name, and by the Light of Your Noble Face and by Your Eternal Sovereignty! By Your Name for which You illuminated the heavens and the earths.
By Your Name by which You put in order the affairs from the beginning to the end.
O' the Living before any life began! O' the Living after all life ends! O' the Living when there was no life but You.
O' Ever-Alive! O' the Self-Subsisting! O' the One! O' Eternal, Absolute! O' the One! O' the Odd! O' Compassionate! O' Merciful! Please forgive our sins.
Please provide an easy way out of our affairs.
Please firmly establish me on the religion of Your Prophet Muhammad (MGB).
And let our deeds be elevated and accepted.
Grant us what You granted Your Friends and those who obey You and Your Servants in the ranks of the righteous.
We believe in You, rely upon You, and to You is our return.
Please collect all that is good for us by Your Might and Strength and remove all that is evil from us by Your Favor and Mercy.
O' Giver! O' Bestower! O' Creator of the heavens and the earth! O' Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor! You give good to whomever You please and fend off evil from whomever You please.
Please grant us all the good that we have asked for and favor us with Your Mercy - O' the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
I am inclined to You.
There is no Change or Power except with God - the Sublime the Supreme.
O' my God! Please expand my breast through the Qur‟an, make my tongue eloquent by the Qur‟an, enlighten my sight by the Qur‟an, employ my body for the Qur‟an, and help me carry out its duty as long as You keep me alive for 'There is no Change or Power except with You'.
O' my God!O‟ He who extended what is extended, established what is established, and destroyed what is destroyed.
O' Compeller of the hearts towards their nature, wretched or prosperous! O' Expander of Mercy for the righteous ones! Please bestow the noblest of Your Blessings, Your Best Bounties and Kindness, Your Salutations and Mercy on Muhammad – Your Servant and Prophet who opened what was shut, finished what was past, conquered the right with the right, and fended off the troops of the wrong! You burdened him with a heavy load and he carried out Your Orders and pleased You without any setback.
He did not violate Your Honor and safeguarded Your Pledge.
He carried out Your Orders as he is Your entrusted trust, witness of the Day of Religion, and appointed by You as a form of mercy for all the people.
O' my God! Please bestow him a vast place near You, grant him satisfaction after his contentment, and reward him the light of Your Rewards and Bestowals.
O' my God! Please perfect Your Promise by appointing him with his intercession accepted by You, his words pleasing You, his logic fair, his speech complete and his proofs and reason great.
O' my God! Please let us be amongst those who listen to and obey, of his sincere friends and his companions.
O' my God! Please express our greetings to him, and return his answer to us.
O' my God! I am weak.
Please strengthen my weakness with Your Pleasure and grab me and lead me towards good, and let my submission be in Your Ultimate Pleasure.
O' my God! I am weak, so please give me strength.
I am debased, so please honor me.
I am poor so please provide for my sustenance.

Then say 100 times

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ-
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ

Then say the following one-hundred times,
“O' my God! I ask from You Paradise.
O' my God! I take refuge in You from the Fire.

Then say

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَ بِأَنَّكَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّكَ أَحَدٌ صَمَدٌ لَمْ تَلِدْ وَ لَمْ تُولَدْ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي كُلَّهَا صَغِيرَهَا وَ كَبِيرَهَا مَغْفِرَةً تَامَّةً يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Then say,

“O' my God! I ask You by the fact that You are God! There is no God but You.
You are the Only who has no associate.
And You are the Most Compassionate Most Merciful! I ask You by the fact that You are One, Eternal, Absolute! You do not give birth, nor are You born.
There is none like unto You.
I ask You to forgive all my sins, minor or major, perfectly forgiven.
O' the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

Then say 4 times

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ وَ أُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَ مَلَائِكَتَكَ وَ جَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ أَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَ أُومِنُ بِكَ وَ أَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

Then say the following four times,

“O' my God! I take You and the carriers of Your Throne, Your angels and all Your creatures as witnesses.
I bear witness that You are God! There is no God but You.
You are the Only who has no associate.
And I believe in You.
I rely on You; I ask You for forgiveness, and I repent to You.

Then say

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ فِي دِينِي وَ أَمَانَتِي وَ نَفْسِي وَ وُلْدِي وَ مَالِي وَ جَمِيعِ أَهْلِ عِنَايَتِي فِي حِمَاكَ الَّذِي لَا يُسْتَبَاحُ وَ فِي عِزِّكَ الَّذِي لَا يُرَامُ وَ فِي سُلْطَانِكَ الَّذِي لَا يُسْتَضَامُ وَ فِي مُلْكِكَ الَّذِي لَا يَبْلَى وَ فِي نِعَمِكَ [أنعمتك‌] الَّتِي لَا تُحْصَى وَ فِي ذِمَّتِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُخْفَرُ وَ فِي رَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي‌ وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ جَارُ اللَّهِ آمِنٌ مَحْفُوظٌ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي كُلَّهَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لَنَا بِطَاعَتِكَ وَ اخْتِمْ لَنَا بِرِضْوَانِكَ وَ أَعِذْنَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى الْحَافِظِينَ الْكِرَامِ الْكَاتِبِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَ أَنَ‌ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ‌ إِنَّ صَلاتِي وَ نُسُكِي وَ مَحْيايَ وَ مَماتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَ بِذلِكَ أُمِرْتُ‌ وَ أَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ يَوْمِي هَذَا وَ خَيْرَ مَا فِيهِ وَ خَيْرَ مَا أَمَرْتَ بِهِ وَ خَيْرَ مَا قَبْلَهُ وَ خَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ يَوْمِي هَذَا وَ شَرِّ مَا فِيهِ وَ شَرِّ مَا قَبْلَهُ وَ شَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فَتْحَهُ وَ نَصْرَهُ وَ نُورَهُ وَ هُدَاهُ
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي بِخَيْرٍ وَ اخْتِمْ لِي بِخَيْرٍ وَ اخْتِمْهُ عَلَيَّ بِخَيْرٍ
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْهُ عَلَيَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ اخْتِمْهُ عَلَيَّ بِرِضْوَانِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ كَادَنِي فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا بِسُوءٍ فَاكْفِنِيهِ وَ قِنِي شَرَّهُ وَ ارْدُدْ كَيْدَهُ فِي نَحْرِهِ
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا مِنْ خَيْرٍ أَوْ رَحْمَةٍ أَوْ شِفَاءٍ أَوْ فَرَجٍ أَوْ عَافِيَةٍ أَوْ رِزْقٍ فَاجْعَلْ لِي فِيهِ نَصِيباً وَافِراً حَسَناً وَ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ مِنْ مَحْذُورٍ أَوْ مَكْرُوهٍ أَوْ بَلِيَّةٍ أَوْ شَقَاءٍ فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ بَدْوَ يَوْمِي هَذَا فَلَاحاً وَ أَوْسَطَهُ صَلَاحاً وَ آخِرَهُ نَجَاحاً وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ يَوْمٍ أَوَّلُهُ فَزَعٌ وَ أَوْسَطُهُ جَزَعٌ وَ آخِرُهُ وَجَعٌ
اللَّهُمَّ بِرَأْفَتِكَ أَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَرْجُو رِضْوَانَكَ وَ بِرِضْوَانِكَ أَرْجُو الْجَنَّةَ
فَلَا تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِذَنْبِي وَ لَا تُعَاقِبْنِي بِسُوءِ عَمَلِي
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حَيَاتِي مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَ اجْعَلْ وَفَاتِي إِذَا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي رَاحَةً [زَاجِراً] مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ وَ نَجَاةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي أَخْشَاكَ كَأَنِّي أَرَاكَ وَ أَرْجُوكَ وَ لَا أَرْجُو غَيْرَكَ وَ أَذْكُرُكَ وَ لَا أَنْسَاكَ
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي كُلَّ ذَنْبٍ سَلَفَ مِنِّي فِي اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ مُنْذُ خَلَقْتَنِي وَ كَفِّرْهُ عَنِّي وَ أَبْدِلْنِي بِهِ حَسَنَاتٍ وَ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي كُلَّ خَيْرٍ عَمِلْتُهُ لَكَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ مُنْذُ خَلَقْتَنِي وَ ارْفَعْهُ لِي عِنْدَكَ فِي الرَّفِيعِ الْأَعْلَى وَ أَعْطِنِي عَلَيْهِ الثَّوَابَ الْكَثِيرَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ إِنَّكَ جَوَادٌ لَا تَبْخَلُ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ مُتَوَكِّلًا عَلَيْكَ فَاكْفِنِي وَ أَصْبَحْتُ فَقِيراً إِلَيْكَ فَأَغْنِنِي وَ أَصْبَحْتُ لَا أَعْرِفُ رَبّاً غَيْرَكَ فَاغْفِرْ لِي وَ أَصْبَحْتُ مُقِرّاً لَكَ بِالرُّبُوبِيَّةِ مُعْتَرِفاً لَكَ بِالْعُبُودِيَّةِ وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ إِلَهاً وَاحِداً أَحَداً صَمَداً لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صاحِبَةً وَ لا وَلَداً وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ أَرْسَلَهُ‌ بِالْهُدى‌ وَ دِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَ لَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ‌ فَبَلَّغَ رِسَالاتِهِ وَ نَصَحَ لِأُمَّتِهِ وَ جَاهَدَ فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ وَ عَبَدَهُ حَتَّى أَتَاهُ‌ الْيَقِينُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَى آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ
وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لا رَيْبَ فِيها وَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ وَ أَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ وَ النَّارَ حَقٌّ وَ الْبَعْثَ حَقٌّ وَ إِنِّي أُومِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَ بِرَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَى آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ وَ بِ مَلائِكَتِهِ وَ كُتُبِهِ وَ رُسُلِهِ لا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ رُسُلِهِ‌
اللَّهُمَّ فَاكْتُبْ لِي هَذِهِ الشَّهَادَةَ عِنْدَكَ وَ لَقِّنِّيهَا عِنْدَ حَاجَتِي إِلَيْهَا وَ أَحْيِنِي عَلَيْهَا وَ ابْعَثْنِي عَلَيْهَا وَ احْشُرْنِي عَلَيْهَا وَ اجْزِنِي جَزَاءَ مَنْ لَقِيَكَ بِهَا مُخْلِصاً غَيْرَ شَاكٍّ فِيهَا وَ لَا مُرْتَدٍّ عَنْهَا وَ لَا مُبَدِّلٍ لَهَا آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ الْأَخْيَارِ وَ سَلَّمَ كَثِيراً سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ غَفَّارُ الذُّنُوبِ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ وَ أَسْأَلُهُ أَنْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيَّ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ الْأَوَّلِ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَهُ شَيْ‌ءٌ وَ الْآخِرِ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ شَيْ‌ءٌ وَ الظَّاهِرِ فَلَيْسَ فَوْقَهُ شَيْ‌ءٌ وَ الْبَاطِنِ فَلَيْسَ دُونَهُ شَيْ‌ءٌ يُحْيِي وَ يُمِيتُ‌ وَ هُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَ هُوَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِقَوْلِهِ وَ لَا مُعَادِلَ لِحُكْمِهِ وَ لَا رَادَّ لِقَضَائِهِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الْأَوَّلِ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ الْخَالِقِ لَهُ وَ الْآخِرِ بَعْدَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ الْوَارِثِ لَهُ وَ الظَّاهِرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ الْوَكِيلِ عَلَيْهِ [كل شي‌ء] وَ الْبَاطِنِ دُونَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ الْمُحِيطِ بِهِ الَّذِي عَلَا فَقَهَرَ وَ مَلَكَ فَقَدَرَ وَ بَطَنَ فَخَبَرَ دَيَّانِ الدِّينِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى حِلْمِهِ بَعْدَ عِلْمِهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى عَفْوِهِ بَعْدَ قُدْرَتِهِ
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي‌ اللَّيْلِ إِذا يَغْشى‌ وَ فِي‌ النَّهارِ إِذا تَجَلَّى‌ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَ الْأُولَى وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَمَا حَمِدْتَ نَفْسَكَ وَ كَمَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ وَ كَمَا حَمِدَكَ الْحَامِدُونَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا أَحْصَى كِتَابُكَ وَ أَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ زِنَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِكَرَمِ وَجْهِكَ وَ عِزِّ جَلَالِكَ وَ عِظَمِ سُلْطَانِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً خَالِداً بِخُلُودِكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً دَائِماً بِدَوَامِكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لَا أَمَدَ لَهُ دُونَ بُلُوغِ مَشِيَّتِكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لَا يَتَنَاهَى دُونَ مُنْتَهَى عِلْمِكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً يَبْلُغُ رِضَاكَ وَ يُوجِبُ مَزِيدَكَ وَ يُؤْمِنُ مِنْ غَيْرِكَ‌ فَسُبْحانَ‌ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَ حِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ وَ عَشِيًّا وَ حِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ‌ يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهارِ وَ يُولِجُ النَّهارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ‌ وَ يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَ يُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَ يُحْيِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِها وَ كَذلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ‌ سُبْحانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ وَ سَلامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ‌
سُبْحَانَ الدَّائِمِ الْقَدِيمِ [الْقَائِمِ‌] سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْحَقِّ سُبْحَانَ الْعَلِيِّ الْأَعْلَى سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْحَيِّ الْقَيُّومِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي‌ لا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَ لا نَوْمٌ‌ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْ‌ءٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْ‌ءٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْ‌ءٍ لِمَلَكَتِهِ سُبْحَانَ مَنِ اسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْ‌ءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ سُبْحَانَ مَنِ انْقَادَتْ لَهُ الْأُمُورُ بِأَزِمَّتِهَا [بأذمتها] سُبْحَانَهُ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ‌ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ‌ وَحْدَهُ‌ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ‌ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَ يُمِيتُ‌ وَ هُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَ هُوَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ‌ رَبُّ السَّماواتِ السَّبْعِ وَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ‌ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ إِلَهاً وَاحِداً أَحَداً فَرْداً صَمَداً لَمْ يَلِدْ وَ لَمْ يُولَدْ وَ لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صاحِبَةً وَ لا وَلَداً وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْأَوَّلُ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ الْبَاقِي بَعْدَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَيْهِ وَ الْمُحِيطُ بِكُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ لا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصارُ وَ هُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصارَ وَ هُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ يَعْلَمُ ما يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ ما يَخْرُجُ مِنْها وَ ما يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّماءِ وَ ما يَعْرُجُ فِيها وَ هُوَ الرَّحِيمُ الْغَفُورُ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ وَ أَدْعُوكَ وَ أَنْتَ قُلْتَ‌ قُلِ ادْعُوا اللَّهَ أَوِ ادْعُوا الرَّحْمنَ أَيًّا ما تَدْعُوا فَلَهُ الْأَسْماءُ الْحُسْنى‌ إِنَّكَ أَمَرْتَنِي بِدُعَائِكَ وَ وَعَدْتَ إِجَابَتَكَ وَ لَا خُلْفَ لِوَعْدِكَ فَإِنِّي أَدْعُوكَ كَمَا أَمَرْتَنِي فَاسْتَجِبْ لِي كَمَا وَعَدْتَنِي
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أَوْ ذَكَرْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمَانُ يَا رَحِيمُ يَا بَدِي‌ءُ لَا بَدِي‌ءَ لَكَ يَا دَائِمُ لَا نَفَادَ لَكَ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَدِيمُ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا مُحْيِي يَا مُمِيتُ يَا قَائِماً عَلى‌ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِما كَسَبَتْ‌ يَا أَحَدُ يَا وَتْرُ يَا فَرْدُ يَا صَمَدُ يَا مَنْ‌ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَ لَمْ يُولَدْ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ يَا مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ‌ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشاءُ وَ تَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشاءُ وَ تُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشاءُ وَ تُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشاءُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ
يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ يَا رَبَّ الْأَرَضِينَ وَ مَا أَقَلَّتْ وَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ مَا أَظَلَّتْ وَ الرِّيَاحِ وَ مَا ذَرَتْ يَا خَالِقَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ يَا زَيْنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ يَا عِمَادَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ يَا قَيُّومَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ يَا غِيَاثَ الْمُسْتَغِيثِينَ وَ يَا صَرِيخَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِينَ وَ يَا مَعَاذَ الْعَائِذِينَ وَ يَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ وَ يَا مُنَفِّساً عَنِ الْمَكْرُوبِينَ وَ يَا مُفَرِّجاً عَنِ الْمَغْمُومِينَ وَ يَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ وَ يَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الدَّاعِينَ وَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
وَ يَا أَوَّلَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَ يَا آخِرَ الْآخِرِينَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْأَجَلِّ الْأَعَزِّ الْأَكْرَمِ الظَّاهِرِ الْبَاطِنِ الطَّاهِرِ الْمُطَهَّرِ الْمُقَدَّسِ الْأَحَدِ الصَّمَدِ الْفَرْدِ الَّذِي مَلَأَ الْأَرْكَانَ كُلَّهَا الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيتَ بِهِ أَجَبْتَ وَ إِذَا سُئِلْتَ بِهِ أَعْطَيْتَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَأَفْضَلِ وَ أَكْرَمِ وَ أَعْلَى وَ أَكْمَلِ وَ أَعَزِّ وَ أَعْظَمِ وَ أَشْرَفِ وَ أَزْكَى وَ أَنْمَى وَ أَطْيَبِ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَنْبِيَائِكَ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ وَ مَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ شَرِّفْ بُنْيَانَهُ وَ عَظِّمْ بُرْهَانَهُ وَ ثَقِّلْ مِيزَانَهُ وَ ابْعَثْهُ الْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُودَ الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ وَ تَقَبَّلْ شَفَاعَتَهُ وَ اجْزِهِ عَنَّا أَفْضَلَ مَا جَزَيْتَ نَبِيّاً عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَ بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِكَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَ مَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ وَ صَلِّ عَلَيْنَا مَعَهُمْ إِنَّكَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ لِوَالِدَيَّ وَ مَا وَلَدَا وَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ [و للمؤمنين‌] وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ حَيِّهِمْ وَ مَيِّتِهِمْ وَ شَاهِدِهِمْ وَ غَائِبِهِمْ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مُنْقَلَبَهُمْ وَ مَثْوَاهُمْ اللَّهُمَ‌ اغْفِرْ لَنا وَ لِإِخْوانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونا بِالْإِيمانِ وَ لا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنا إِنَّكَ رَؤُفٌ رَحِيمٌ‌
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لَنَا أَئِمَّتِنَا وَ قُضَاتَنَا وَ وُلَاةَ أُمُورِنَا وَ جَمَاعَتَنَا وَ دِينَنَا الَّذِي ارْتَضَيْتَ لَنَا
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الْإِسْلَامَ وَ أَهْلَهُ وَ أَذِلَّ الشِّرْكَ وَ أَهْلَهُ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَيْهَا وَ اسْتَوْجَبُوا الْعَذَابَ بِالْحُجَجِ اللَّازِمَةِ وَ الذُّنُوبِ الْمُوبِقَةِ وَ الْخَطَايَا الْمُحِيطَةِ بِهِمْ وَ قَدْ قُلْتَ‌ يا عِبادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلى‌ أَنْفُسِهِمْ لا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعاً إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ‌ لَا خُلْفَ لِوَعْدِكَ‌ وَ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِقَوْلِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُقَنِّطْنِي [فلا تقنطني‌] مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ لَا تُؤْيِسْنِي مِنْ عَفْوِكَ وَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الَّذِينَ تَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ ذُنُوبَهُمْ وَ تُكَفِّرُ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَ تُبْ عَلَيَ‌ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ‌ وَ خُذْ بِسَمْعِي وَ بَصَرِي وَ قَلْبِي وَ جَوَارِحِي كُلِّهَا إِلَى طَاعَتِكَ وَ طَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ
وَ إِلَى أَحَبِّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَيْكَ وَ ارْزُقْنِي تَوْبَةً نَصُوحاً أَسْتَوْجِبُ بِهَا مَحَبَّتَكَ وَ أَسْتَحِقُّ مَعَهَا جَنَّتَكَ وَ تُوقِينِي مِنْ عَذَابِكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ وَ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ أَنْصَارِكَ الَّذِينَ تُعِزُّ بِهِمْ دِينَكَ وَ تَنْتَقِمُ بِهِمْ مِنْ عَدُوِّكَ وَ تَخْتِمُ لَهُمْ بِالسَّعَادَةِ وَ الشَّهَادَةِ وَ تُحْيِيهِمْ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً وَ تُقَلِّبُهُمْ مُنْقَلَباً كَرِيماً وَ تُؤْتِيهِمْ‌ فِي الدُّنْيا حَسَنَةً وَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَ تَقِيهِمْ عَذَابَ النَّارِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ ذُنُوبِي عَظِيمَةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ وَ رَحْمَتَكَ وَ عَفْوَكَ وَ فَضْلَكَ أَعْظَمُ مِنْهَا وَ أَكْثَرُ وَ أَوْسَعُ فَانْشُرْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ سَعَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ عَظِيمِ [و عظم‌] عَفْوِكَ وَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ مَا تُنْجِينِي بِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَ تُدْخِلُنِي بِهِ الْجَنَّةَ
اللَّهُمَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ اسْتَغَثْتُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي وَ اسْتَجَرْتُ فَأَغِثْنِي وَ أَجِرْنِي مِنْ ذُنُوبِي وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ عَفْوِكَ عَمَّا ظَلَمْتُ بِهِ نَفْسِي خَاصَّةً يَا إِلَهِي وَ خَلِّصْنِي مِمَّنْ لَهُ حَقٌّ قِبَلِي وَ اسْتَوْهِبْنِي مِنْهُ وَ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ عَوِّضْهُ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ طَوْلِكَ وَ جَزِيلِ ثَوَابِكَ عَلَيَّ وَ عَلَيْهِ بِذَلِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَا مَضَى مِنْ حُسْنِ عَمَلِي مَقْبُولًا وَ مَا فَرَطَ مِنِّي مِنْ سَيِّئَةٍ مَغْفُوراً وَ مَا أَسْتَأْنِسُ مِنْ عُمُرِي أَوَّلَهُ صَلَاحاً وَ أَوْسَطَهُ فَلَاحاً وَ آخِرَهُ نَجَاحاً
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ وَ سُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَ شَرِّ الْعَمَلِ وَ دَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَ شَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ وَ سُوءِ الْمَنْظَرِ فِي الْأَهْلِ وَ الْمَالِ وَ الْوَلَدِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَ مِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَ عَمَلٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَ دُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ
اللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِي وَ سَلِّمْ مِنِّي وَ عَافِنِي وَ اعْفُ عَنِّي وَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِذُنُوبِي وَ لَا تُقَايِسْنِي [تفاتشني‌] بِعَمَلِي وَ لَا تَفْضَحْنِي بِسَرِيرَتِي وَ أَدْخِلْنِي الْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ عَافِنِي مِنَ النَّارِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ أَقِلْنِي عَثْرَتِي وَ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَتِي وَ آمِنْ رَوْعَتِي
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَ التُّقَى وَ الْعَفَافَ وَ الْكَفَافَ وَ الْغِنَى وَ الْعَمَلَ بِمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضَى
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَ أَنَا أَعْلَمُ أَوْ لَا أَعْلَمُ وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا أَعْلَمُ وَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ‌
اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلِ الدُّنْيَا أَكْبَرَ هَمِّي وَ لَا تَجْعَلْ مُصِيبَتِي فِي حَدٍّ وَ لَا تُسَلِّطْ عَلَيَّ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُنِي وَ لَا تُسَلِّطْنِي عَلَى أَحَدٍ بِظُلْمٍ فَتُهْلِكَنِي
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حَيَاتِي زِيَادَةً لِي مِنْ [في‌] كُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَ اجْعَلْ وَفَاتِي رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ ذُلِّي أَصْبَحَ وَ أَمْسَى مُسْتَجِيراً بِعِزَّتِكَ وَ فَقْرِي مُسْتَجِيراً بِغِنَاكَ وَ ذُنُوبِي مُسْتَجِيرَةً بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ وَجْهِيَ الْبَالِيَ الْفَانِيَ مُسْتَجِيراً بِوَجْهِكَ الْبَاقِي الدَّائِمِ الْكَرِيمِ فَكُنْ لِي جَاراً مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ بِرَحْمَتِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَعْطَيْتَنِي مِنْ عَطَاءٍ أَوْ قَضَيْتَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ قَضَاءٍ فَاجْعَلِ الْخِيَرَةَ [لِي‌] فِي بَدْئِهِ وَ عَاقِبَتِهِ وَ ارْزُقْنِي الْعَافِيَةَ وَ السَّلَامَةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَ إِلَيْكَ الْمُشْتَكَى وَ أَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مَلَائِكَتِهِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَ أَنْبِيَائِهِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ رَسُولِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَ إِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَ سَيِّدِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ عَلَى آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا رَبِّ حُسْنَ الظَّنِّ بِكَ وَ الصِّدْقَ فِي التَّوَكُّلِ عَلَيْكَ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ تُدْخِلَنِي النَّارَ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ يَا رَبِّ أَنْ تَبْتَلِيَنِي بِبَلِيَّةٍ تَحْمِلُنِي ضَرُورَتُهَا عَلَى التَّعَرُّضِ بِشَيْ‌ءٍ مِنْ مَعَاصِيكَ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ تُدْخِلَنِي فِي حَالٍ كُنْتُ أَكُونُ فِيهَا فِي يُسْرٍ أَوْ عُسْرٍ أَظُنُّ أَنَّ مَعَاصِيَكَ أَنْجَحُ لِي مِنْ طَاعَتِكَ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَقُولَ قَوْلًا مِنْ طَاعَتِكَ أَلْتَمِسُ بِهِ رِضًا سِوَاكَ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَحَدٌ أَسْعَدَ بِمَا آتَيْتَنِي مِنِّي وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَتَكَلَّفَ طَلَبَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي وَ مَا لَمْ تَقْسِمْهُ لِي وَ مَا قَسَمْتَ لِي مِنْ قِسْمٍ أَوْ رَزَقْتَنِي مِنْ رِزْقٍ فَآتِنِي بِهِ [مِنْكَ‌] فِي يُسْرٍ وَ عَافِيَةٍ حَلَالًا طَيِّباً وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ زَحْزَحَ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَكَ أَوْ بَاعَدَ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَكَ أَوْ تَصْرِفُ بِهِ حَظِّي أَوْ صَرَفَ وَجْهَكَ الْكَرِيمَ عَنِّي وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ تَحُولَ خَطِيئَتِي أَوْ ظُلْمِي أَوْ جُرْمِي أَوْ إِسْرَافِي عَلَى نَفْسِي أَوِ اتِّبَاعِي هَوَايَ وَ [أَوْ] اسْتِعْمَالِي شَهْوَتِي دُونَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ ثَوَابِكَ وَ رِضْوَانِكَ وَ نَائِلِكَ وَ بَرَكَاتِكَ وَ مَوْعِدِكَ الْحَسَنِ الْجَمِيلِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الضَّرَرِ فِي الْمَعِيشَةِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ تَبْتَلِيَنِي [تبتلني‌] بِبَلَاءٍ لَا طَاقَةَ لِي بِهِ أَوْ تُسَلِّطَ عَلَيَّ طَاغِياً أَوْ تَهْتِكَ لِي سِتْراً أَوْ تُبْدِيَ لِي عَوْرَةً أَوْ تُحَاسِبَنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُنَاقَشَةً أَحْوَجَ مَا أَكُونُ إِلَى تَجَاوُزِكَ وَ عَفْوِكَ عَنِّي وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَ كَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّاتِ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ تُعْطِيَ مُحَمَّداً وَ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ أَفْضَلَ مَا سَأَلَكَ‌ وَ أَفْضَلَ مَا سُئِلْتَ لَهُ وَ أَفْضَلَ مَا أَنْتَ مَسْئُولٌ لَهُ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنْ عُتَقَائِكَ وَ طُلَقَائِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ وَ يَا أَجْوَدَ الْأَجْوَدِينَ وَ يَا إِلَهَ الْعَالَمِينَ وَ يَا سَيِّدَ السَّادَاتِ وَ يَا جَبَّارَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ وَ يَا أَفْضَلَ مَنْ سُئِلَ وَ يَا أَكْرَمَ مَنْ أَعْطَى وَ أَحَقَّ مَنْ تَجَاوَزَ وَ عَفَى وَ رَحِمَ وَ تَفَضَّلَ بِإِحْسَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَهُ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ‌ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ‌ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَفْلَحَ سَائِلُكَ وَ تَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَ امْتَنَعَ عَائِذُكَ أَعِذْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقْتَ وَ ذَرَأْتَ وَ بَرَأْتَ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَ كَفَى سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ دَعَا لَيْسَ وَرَاءَ اللَّهِ مُنْتَهَى
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَ رَبُّ مَنْ كَادَنِي وَ بَغَى عَلَيَّ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ نَاصِيَتِي وَ نَاصِيَتُهُ بِيَدِكَ فَادْفَعْ فِي نَحْرِهِ وَ أَعِذْنِي مِنْ شَرِّهِ بِعِزَّتِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُرَامُ وَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ الَّتِي لَا يَمْتَنِعُ مِنْهَا بَرٌّ وَ لَا فَاجِرٌ وَ بِكَلِمَاتِكَ الْحُسْنَى الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَنِي وَ لَمْ أَكُ شَيْئاً
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى هَوْلِ الدُّنْيَا وَ بَوَائِقِ الْآخِرَةِ وَ مُصِيبَاتِ اللَّيَالِي وَ الْأَيَّامِ
اللَّهُمَّ اصْحَبْنِي فِي سَفَرِي وَ اخْلُفْنِي فِي أَهْلِي وَ مَالِي وَ بَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنِي وَ لَكَ فَذَلِّلْنِي وَ عَلَى خُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ صَالِحٍ فَقَوِّمْنِي وَ إِلَيْكَ فَحَبِّبْنِي وَ إِلَى النَّاسِ فَلَا تَكِلْنِي رَبَّ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ وَ أَنْتَ رَبِّي أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ الَّذِي أَشْرَقَتْ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَ الْأَرْضُ وَ كُشِفَتْ بِهِ الظُّلُمَاتُ وَ صَلُحَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَ الْآخِرِينَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ بِي سَخَطُكَ وَ يَحِلَّ عَلَيَّ غَضَبُكَ وَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ وَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ لَكَ الْعُتْبَى عِنْدِي فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتُ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ لَسْتَ بِرَبٍّ اسْتَحْدَثْنَاكَ وَ لَا كَانَ مَعَكَ إِلَهٌ أَعَانَكَ مَا يَقُولُ الْقَائِلُونَ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ بَارِكْ لِي فِي الْمَوْتِ إِذَا نَزَلَ بِي وَ اجْعَلْ لِي فِيهِ رَاحَةً وَ فَرَجاً
اللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا [كما] حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ضَعِيفٌ فَقَوِّ فِي رِضَاكَ ضَعْفِي وَ خُذْ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ بِنَاصِيَتِي وَ اجْعَلِ الْإِسْلَامَ مُنْتَهَى رِضَايَ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ وَ أُشْهِدُ مَلَائِكَتَكَ وَ كَفَى بِكَ شَهِيداً أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَ رَسُولُكَ وَ خِيَرَتُكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ‌ وَ أَنَّ كُلَّ مَعْبُودٍ مِنْ دُونِ عَرْشِكَ إِلَى قَرَارِ أَرْضِكَ السَّابِعَةِ بَاطِلٌ مَا خَلَا وَجْهَكَ الْكَرِيمَ الدَّائِمَ الَّذِي لَا يَزُولُ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اكْشِفْ مَا بِي مِنْ ضُرٍّ وَ حَوِّلْهُ عَنِّي يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ وَ إِنَّكَ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَشَاءُ وَ إِنَّ مَيْسُورَ الْعَسِيرِ عَلَيْكَ يَسِيرٌ
اللَّهُمَّ يَسِّرْ لِي مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا عَسُرَ وَ سَهِّلْ مَا صَعُبَ وَ لَيِّنْ مَا غَلُظَ وَ فَرِّجْ مَا لَا يُفَرِّجُهُ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُكَ بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ الدَّائِمِ التَّامِّ وَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ وَ بِحَقِّ الرُّوحَانِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ‌ لا يَفْتُرُونَ‌ إِلَّا بِتَعْظِيمِ عِزِّ جَلَالِكَ وَ بِالثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْكَ وَ لَا يَبْلُغُونَ مَا أَنْتَ مُسْتَحِقُّهُ مِنْ عَظِيمِ عِزِّكَ وَ عُلُوِّ شَأْنِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي تَجَلَّيْتَ بِهِ لِلْجَبَلِ فَ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَ خَرَّ مُوسى‌ صَعِقاً وَ بِالاسْمِ الْمَخْزُونِ الْمَكْنُونِ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيمِ الَّذِي فَلَقْتَ بِهِ الْبَحْرَ لِمُوسَى بْنِ عِمْرَانَ فَصَارَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ‌ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي ذَلَّ لَهُ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي وَضَعْتَهُ عَلَى النَّهَارِ فَأَضَاءَ وَ عَلَى اللَّيْلِ فَأَظْلَمَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ وَ تَغْفِرَ لِي‌ خَطِيئَتِي يَوْمَ الدِّينِ‌
وَ تَغْفِرَ لِوَالِدَيَ‌ كَما رَبَّيانِي صَغِيراً وَ عَلَّمَانِي كِتَابَكَ وَ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكَ وَ تُدْخِلَ عَلَيْهِمَا رَأْفَةً مِنْكَ وَ رَحْمَةً وَ بَدِّلْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمَا حَسَنَاتٍ وَ تَقَبَّلْ مِنْهُمَا مَا أَحْسَنَا وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنْهُمَا مَا أَسَاءَا فَإِنَّكَ أَوْلَى بِالْجُودِ وَ اجْعَلْهُمَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ رَضِيتَ عَنْهُمَا وَ أَسْكَنْتَهُمْ جَنَّاتِكَ النَّعِيمَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ لَا بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ تَفَضُّلًا مِنْكَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِجُودِكَ وَ كَرَمِكَ وَ عِزَّتِكَ وَ سُلْطَانِكَ يَا مَنْ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَ لَا يَنْبَغِي الْحَمْدُ إِلَّا لَهُ يَا كَرِيمَ الْإِحْسَانِ يَا مَنْ يَبْقَى وَ يَفْنَى كُلُّ شَيْ‌ءٍ يَا مَنْ يَرَى وَ لَا يُرَى وَ هُوَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْأَعْلَى وَ مَنْ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ رَقِيبٌ وَ بِكُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ رَءُوفٌ وَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَابِلٌ شَهِيدٌ يَعْلَمُ خائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَ ما تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ تَعْلَمُ ما فِي نَفْسِي وَ لا أَعْلَمُ ما فِي نَفْسِكَ‌
وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِالاسْمِ الَّذِي وَضَعْتَ بِهِ الْجِبَالَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَاسْتَقَرَّتْ وَ بِالاسْمِ الَّذِي وَضَعْتَهُ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ فَاسْتَقَلَّتْ وَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَاسْتَقَلَّتْ أَنْ تُنْجِيَنِي مِنَ النَّارِ وَ تُجِيزَنِي الصِّرَاطَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَ لِوَالِدَيَّ وَ حَامَّتِي وَ قَرَابَتِي [وَ قَرَابَاتِي‌] وَ جِيرَانِي وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي وَ كُلِّ ذِي رَحِمٍ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ دَخَلَ إِلَيَّ بِنُورِكَ الَّذِي لَا يُطْفَأُ وَ بِعِزَّتِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُرَامُ وَ اكْفِنِي مَا لَا يَكْفِنِيهِ أَحَدٌ سِوَاكَ وَ مَا أَنْتَ‌ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي وَ اسْتُرْنِي بِسِتْرِكَ الْجَمِيلِ وَ عَافِنِي بِقُدْرَتِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ وَ عِقَابِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَالِمٌ غَيْرُ مُتَعَلِّمٍ وَ أَنْتَ عَالِمٌ بِحَالِي وَ أَمْرِي فَاجْعَلْ لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ نَصِيباً وَ إِلَى كُلِّ خَيْرٍ سَبِيلًا
اللَّهُمَّ وَ اجْعَلْ لِي سَهْماً فِي دُعَاءِ مَنْ دَعَاكَ رَجَاءَ الثَّوَابِ مِنْكَ فِي مَشَارِقِ الْأَرْضِ وَ مَغَارِبِهَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ تَقَبَّلْ دُعَائِهِمْ وَ أَعِنْهُمْ عَلَى عَدُوِّكَ وَ عَدُوِّهِمْ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَ لَا يُقْدَرُ عَلَيْكَ وَ لَا يَدْفَعُ الْبَلَاءَ غَيْرُكَ يَا مَعْرُوفاً بِالْإِحْسَانِ وَ الرَّأْفَةِ وَ الرَّحْمَةِ أَنْتَ مُقَلِّبُ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ وَ أَنْتَ مُدَبِّرُ الْأُمُورِ وَ أَنْتَ تَخْتَارُ لِعِبَادِكَ فَاجْعَلْنِي مِمَّنِ اخْتَرْتَهُ لِطَاعَتِكَ وَ أَمِنْتَهُ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ يَوْمَ‌ يَخْسَرُ الْمُبْطِلُونَ‌ وَ تُبْ عَلَيَ‌ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ‌
وَ اخْتَرْنِي وَ اخْتَرْ وُلْدِي فَقَدْ خَلَقْتَهُمْ فَأَحْسَنْتَ وَ رَزَقْتَ فَأَفْضَلْتَ فَتَمِّمْ نِعْمَتَكَ عَلَيَّ وَ عَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَ أَهْلِ عِنَايَتِي وَ أَوْسِعْ عَلَيْنَا فِي رِزْقِكَ وَ لَا تُشْمِتْ بِنَا عَدُوّاً وَ لَا حَاسِداً وَ لَا بَاغِياً وَ لَا طَاغِياً وَ احْرُسْنَا بِعَيْنِكَ الَّتِي لَا تَنَامُ
اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا الدُّعَاءُ وَ عَلَيْكَ الْإِجَابَةُ وَ أَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ وَ عَلَيْكَ التُّكْلَانُ
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ عَلَى آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً كَثِيراً وَ حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ‌.

Then say:

“O' my God! I entered the morning with my Religion, trust, self, children, wealth, and all the people I care for being under Your Own Support that no one can break and under Your Might that does not collapse: And under Your Mastery that cannot be violated, and in Your Kingdom that does not get destroyed, and in Your Blessings that may not be counted, and under Your Reign that cannot be violated! O' my God! I ask You by Your Mercy which encompasses all things.
Anyone who seeks protection in God is safe and protected.
There is no Change or Power except with God.
There is no God but God.
And God is the Great.
Glory be to God! O' my Lord! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny.
Please fogive all my sins with Your Mercy - O' the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
O' my God! Please start us with Your Obedience, let our ending be with Your Pleasure and protect us from the accursed Satan! Peace be on my guardian angels - the Honorable Recorders
I bear witness that there is no God but God.
He is One and there are no partners for Him.
Muhammad is His Servant and Prophet (MGB).
"Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds-No partner hath He-this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bow to His Will. " 6:162-163
O' my God! I ask You for the best day today and the best things during it.
I ask You for the best things You ordered, the best thing before it and the best thing after it.
O' my God! I take refuge in You from the evils of this day, the evil of whatever is in within it, whatever is before it and whatever is after it.
O' my God! I ask You for success, help, light and guidance today.
O' my God! Please provide a good start and a good ending for me by Your Own Means.
O' my God! Please end it in good for me.
O' my God! Please start it with Your Mercy and end it with Your Pleasure for me.
O' my God!Please fend off anyone who may want to bother me, protect me from his evil, and return his tricks to himself.
O' my God! Please give me a good share of what You send down on this day including good, mercy, healing, ease, health or sustenance and protect me from any dangers, catastrophes, calamities or hardships that You may send down.
O' my God! I ask You to establish its first day for my prosperity, its middle day for my improvement and its last day for my success.
I take refuge in You from the evils of the day that begins with fear, continues with restlessness, and ends in pain.
O' my God! I hope for Your Mercy by Your Kindness, Your Pleasure by Your Mercy, and Your Paradise by Your Pleasure.
Please do not question me for my sins, and do not chastise me for my evil deeds.
O' my God! O' my God! Please expand all the good things for me for as long as You let me live.
O' my God! When I die, please let it be a means of me getting rid of all evil and save me from all bad things.
O' my God! Please let me fear You as if I can see You.
I have hopes in you and no one else.
I remember You and I shall not forget You.
O' my God! Please forgive all of my sins committed at day or night since You created me, hid them from me and turned them into good deeds.
And please accept from me all good deeds that I have done for You during the days and nights since You created me.
And raise it to the highest rank near You for me.
Grant me great reward for it by Your Mercy as You are the Munificent Who does not withhold.
O' my God! I made it to the morning relying upon You.
Please suffice me.
I made it to the morning poor and in need of You.
Please enrich me.
I made it to the morning knowing no lord but You.
Please forgive me.
I made it to the morning confessing to Your Lordship and claiming Your Servitude.
I bear witness that there is no God but God.
He is One and there are no partners for Him - the true God, the One! The Only! Eternal, Absolute! One "Who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion!" 17:111
I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and His Messenger sent for guidance and the true Religion and to proclaim it over all religions even though the polytheists detest this! He (MGB) made a serious effort to express his Message, advised his nation, struggled in the way of God and served Him until death took him away.
I bear witness that the Hour is sure to come and there is no doubt about it, and God shall resurrect all residents of the graves.
I bear witness that Paradise is true, Hell is true, and Resurrection is true.
I believe in God, His Messenger – May God bless him and his Progeny.
I believe in His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers.
I bear witness that there is no difference between any of His Messengers.
O' my God! Please record this testimony of mine in front of You.
Please induce it to me when needed.
Please let me live with that testimony and let me be resurrected with it and let me live with it in my afterlife.
Please give me the reward of those who are sincere when they meet You, who have no doubt, no return, and no change in it.
Amen! O' Lord of the Worlds! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny – the Immaculate ones, the pure ones, the good and send them plenty of peace.
And Glory be to God and Praise be to Him.
There is no God but God.
And God is the Great.
Ask God for forgiveness as there are no Gods but Him – the forgiver of sins.
I turn to Him and ask Him to turn towards me.
There is no Change or Power except with God – the Sublime the Supreme.
He is the First with nothing before Him.
He is the Last with nothing after Him.
And He is Apparent and there is nothing above Him.
And He is Hidden and there is nothing below Him.
He gives life and causes to die.
And He is the Everlasting for Whom there is no death, in His Power is goodness and He has power over all things.
Praise be to God whose Words no one can change, whose Decree no one can parallel, and whose Judgment no one can reverse! Praise be to God! The First before everything and their Creator.
The Last after everything and their Inheritor! The Apparent to all things and their Trust.
The Hidden in all things and encompassing them.
He is the Sublime thus subdues.
He is the Ruler thus He is Powerful.
He is concealed thus He Knows.
O' He who administers authority! Lord of the worlds.
Praise be to God for His Forbearance in spite of His Knowledge.
Praise be to God for His Forgiveness in spite of His Power.
O' my God! Praise belongs to You at night when it gets dark and in the day when it gets light.
Praise belongs to You in the afterlife and the first life.
"O' my God! Praise belongs to You as You praise Yourself - as it best fits You and as those of Your Creatures who praise You! Praise belongs to You as many in number as Your Book has counted and Your Knowledge has encompassed.
Praise belongs to You equal in weight to Your Throne and to the Extent of Your Words! Praise belongs to You as it suits the Benevolence of Your Face and the Magnificence of Your Majesty.
O' my God! Praise belongs to You.
Praise that is eternal along with Your Eternity.
Praise belongs to You.
Praise that is everlasting ever with Your Everlasting! Praise belongs to You - Praise no period of which is against Your Will.
Praise belongs to You - Praise for which there in no end but Your Knowledge.
Praise belongs to You - Praise that attains Your Pleasure, causes Your increased Favors, and secures from us from others but You.
"So (give) glory to God!, when ye reach eventide and when ye rise in the morning; Yea, to Him be praise, in the heavens and on earth; and in the late afternoon and when the day begins to decline.
"30:17-19
"He merges Night into Day, and he merges Day into Night"35:13
"It is He Who brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living, and Who gives life to the earth after it is dead: and thus shall ye be brought out (from the dead). "30:17-19
"Glory be to Your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! And Peace on the apostles! And Praise to God!, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. "37:180-182
Glory be to God the Perpetual - the Upright! Glory be to God! The Sovereign! The Right! Glory be the highest High! Glory be to the Sublime! Glory be to God.
Praise be to Him.
Glory be to God – the Living, the Self-Subsisting! Glory be to God.
No slumber can seize Him nor sleep.
Glory be to Him to Whose Grandeur all things are humble.
Glory be to God, to Whose Honor all things are debased! Glory be to Him to whose Dominion all things are humble! And Glory be to God to Whose Power all things submit! Glory be to Him who controls all affairs! Glory be to Him and Praise be to Him! There is no God but God.
He is One and there are no partners for Him.
Sovereignty belongs to Him and Praise belongs to Him.
He gives life and causes to die.
And He is the Everlasting for Whom there is no death and in His Power is goodness and He has Power over all things.
There is no god but God - the Forebearing, the Generous.
There is no god but God – the Sublime the Exalted.
There is no god but God - the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing - the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme.
There is no God but God - the true God, the One, the Only one! Eternal, Absolute! One who "begetteth not, nor is He begotten!" One "Who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion!" 17:111 And there is none like unto Him! There is no God but God who existed before everything and Who shall last after everything.
He is Poweful over all and is Encompassing everything.
The eyes cannot perceive Him, but He perceives all the eyes.
He is the Knower of subtleties, the All-Aware.
He is the Merciful! The All-Forgiving! O' my God! I ask You and I call You as You said, "Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names"17:110.
Verily You ordered me to pray to You, and promised to answer and not break Your Promise.
Verily I am praying to You as You have ordered me to do; so, please respond to me as You have promised.
O' my God! I ask You by all Names that are Yours, by which You call Yourself, or mentioned them in Your Book, or taught any of Your Creatures, or You possess by Your Secret Knowledge.
O' God! O' God! O' God! O' Compassionate! O' Merciful! O‟ the Originator whom no one has originated! O' the Enduring for whom there is no termination! O' the Living! O' the Self-Subsisting! O' He who gives life! O' He who causes death!O‟ He who holds everyone to account for what they earn! O' the One! O' the Odd O' the One! O' Eternal, Absolute! O' He who"begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him!" O' Lord of Power (and Rule)! You give Power to whom You please, and You strip off power from whomever You please: You endue with honor whom You please, and You bring low whom You please: In Your hand is all good.
Verily, over all things You have Power.
O' Giver! O' Bestower! O' Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor! O' Lord of the earth, and of what it bears and carries, and the skies, and of what they cover, shade and support.
Lord of the winds and of what they carry off, sprinkle and scatter! O' Creator of all things! O' He who adorns the heavens and the earths.
O' Supporter of the heavens and the earths! O' the Self-Subsisting of this world and the Hereafter! O' He who helps the helpless! O' He who helps those who cry for help! O' Protector of those who seek preotection! O' the Responder to the cries of the distressed needy! O' He who relieves sorrow from the grief-stricken.
O' He who dispels grief from those who grieve.
O' the Responder to the cries of the distressed needy! O' the Responder to the calls of the callers! O' the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
O' the First of the first! O' the Last of the last! I ask You by Your Name, the Grand, the most Mighty, the Most Bountiful.
The Apparent! The Hidden! The pure, the purified, the sacred, the One! The Eternal, Absolute! that fills all the Pillars and that which when invoked supplications are fulfilled, and that which when invoked favors are granted.
I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny – the noblest, most honored, highest, most complete, mightiest, most majestic, most respected, purest, most prospering, cleanest of the blessings You ever bestowed on any of Your Chosen Prophets, Your nearby-stationed angels, and Your Servants in the ranks of the righteous.
O' my God! Please honor his foundation, exalt his reasoning, and make his scale heavier.
And please appoint him to the Praiseworthy Position that You promised him and accept his intercession and give him a reward on Our Behalf better than You have ever awarded to any Prophet on behalf of his nation.
O' my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny and bestow Your Blessedness on Muhammad and his Progeny as You bestowed Your Blessings and Blessedness on Abraham and his Progeny as You are Prasieworthy and Glorious! O' my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Your sent Prophets, Your nearby-stationed angels and Your Servants in the ranks of the righteous, and bestow Your Blessings on us along with them as You are the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
O' my God! Please forgive me, my parents, my offspring, all the believing men and women, all the Muslim men and women whether they are living or have passed away, and whether they are present or absent as You well know about their life and afterlife.
"Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed.
Our Lord! You are indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful.
"59:10 O' my God! Please give us the best leaders, judges, officers in charge of our affairs, our society and our Religion that You prescribed for us.
O' my God! Please honor Islam and its adherents.
Please debase atheism and its adherents.
O' my God! I am one of Your Servants who have transgressed against my soul.
I have been extravagant and deserve punishment based on existing evidence, and have committed sins and mistakes that encompass him.
Verily You said, “O' my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”39:53
You shall not break Your Promise, nor shall You change Your Words.
O' my God! Please do not despair me of Your Mercy and do not let me lose hopes of Your Pardon and Forgiveness.
Please let me be amongst those of Your Servants whose sins You have forgiven, and whose faults You have covered up.
Accept my repentance as You are the Ever- Relenting, the Merciful! Please employ all my hearing, sight, heart and organs in obeying You and obeying Your Prophet (MGB) and doing deeds that You like best.
O' God! Please bless me with sincere repentance by which I may earn Your love with which I desreve Your Paradise! Please safeguard me from Your Punishment.
Verily There is no Change or Power except with You.
Please let me be amongst Your Friends and Helpers by whom Your Religion is honored and by whom revenge is taken from Your enemies.
Let their ending be in prosperity and martyrdom with a pure life and noble revival after death.
And please grant them the good of this world, and the good of the Hereafter, and save them from the torment of the burning Fire.
O' my God! Indeed my sins are plentiful and grave.
However, Your Mercy, Pardon and Nobilty are more plentiful, greater and more bountiful than my sins.
Please cover me with Your All-Embarcing Mercy, Your Great Pardon and Forgiving with which I may be saved from Hell and admitted into Paradise.
O' my God! I seek refuge in You and ask You for the forgiveness of my sins due to Your Mercy.
So please help me and save me from my sins.
Please favor me with Your forgivenss and pardoning especially for the sins through which I transgressed especially against myself.
O' my God! Please save me from those who have a right on me, ask them to favor me and forgive me and bestow on them and me from Your Favor and Great Rewards for this.
O' the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
O' my God! Please let my past good deeds be accepted and my bad deeds be forgiven.
And please establish the beginning of what is left of my life for my improvement, its middle for my prosperity and its ending for my success.
O' my God! I take refuge in You from harsh calamities, bad destiny experiencing hardships, being ridiculed by enemies, bad family relationships, bad financial situation and bad children.
O' my God! I seek refuge in You from a heart that is never pious, a self that is never content, and a deed that is not beneficial, and a prayer that is not accepted.
O' my God! Keep me safe and keep others safe from me.
Give me well-being, pardon me, do not question me for my sins and do not punish me for my deeds.
Please do not disgrace me for my thoughts, and admit me to Paradise by Your Mercy and safeguard me from the Fire by Your Power.
O' my God! Please overlook my slippage, conceal my defects, and change my fear into peace.
O' my God! I ask You to lead me to the the Rightly-Guided Path, leading us to piety, virtuousness, sufficiency, contentment, and deeds that You like and please You.
O' my God! I take refuge in You from associating any partners with You knowingly or unknowingly.
I ask You for forgiveness regarding what I have done knowingly or unknowingly.
O' my God! Please do not let worldly efforts be a major part of my endeavors.
Do not impose the utmost calamities on me.
Do not subject me to one who has no mercy on me.
Do not subject me to one who would oppress me and destroy me.
O' my God! Please let most of my life be good, and let my death be a source of comfort for me from all evil.
O' my God! Verily I made it to the morning and the evening seeking protection from You by Might and seeking help for my poverty in Your Wealthiness.
I seek protection from Your Mercy for my sins, My face is vanishing, ephemeral and seeking Your Protection from Your Face - the Everlasting the Eternal the Benevolent - please protect me from all evil by Your Mercy.
O' my God! Please let the beginning and ending of whatever You give me of Your Gifts or whaever You destine for me of Your Destination be good for me.
O' God! Please bless me with well-being and health - by Your Mercy - O' the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
O' my Lord! Praise belongs to You! And I call for Your Help, and seek Your Support.
There is no change nor any strength except by God the Sublime, the Supreme.
And may God bestow blessings on the nearby-stationed angels, the dispatched Messengers and on the last of the Prophets - Muhammad and his Progeny - Messenger of the Lord of the worlds; The Divine Leader of the pious ones, the Master of the Messengers and on his Progeny - the Immaculate, the Pure ones and may His peace be on them plentifully.
O' my God! O' Lord! I ask You to endow me with a good opinion of You and honesty on reliance upon You.
And I take refuge in You from throwing me into the Fire.
O' Lord! I take refuge in You from making me suffer from calamities that force me to engage in acts of Your disobedience.
And I take refuge in You from throwing me into a state of ease or hardship in which I think that Your disobedience helps me more than Your Obedience.
And I take refuge in You from saying something in Your Obedience with the intention of pleasing someone other than You.
And I take refuge in You from someone else being more prosperous than me in benefitting from what You bestow.
And I take refuge in You from being forcefully after something that is not mine and is not allocated to me.
I ask You to give me what You provide for me - pure and legitimate with ease and well-being for me.
I take refuge in You from anything that may come in between me and You, make a distance between me and You, hinder me from getting my benefit from You, or from You turning Your Noble Face away from me.
I take refuge in You from any of my acts of oppression, crimes, harming myself, following lustful desires or engaging in lustful acts that may form a barrier between me and You and be deprived of Your Forgiveness, Reward, Pleasure, Prize, Blessings, and beautifully good Promise.
O' my God! I take refuge in You from suffering a loss in the means of my livelihood.
I take refuge in You from suffering a calamity which I cannot bear; an oppressive person ruling over me or my secrets being divulged, disclosing my shortcomings, strict Reckoning on the Resurrection Day when I am in a greater need of Your Overlooking and Pardoning.
I ask You by Your Noble Face and Your Perfect Words to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny.
Please bestow on Muhammd (MGB) the best of what he has asked You, and the best of what has been asked for him (MGB), and the best of what may be asked for him (MGB).
I ask You to let me be amongst those freed and released from the Fire.
O' the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
O' the Most Benevolent of the benevolent ones! O' Lord of the worlds! O' Master of the masters! O' Compeller of the compellers! O‟ the best one to beg! O' the Most Kind who bestows more than all who bestow! O‟ the most deserving to overlook, pardon, have mercy, and favor us with His Eternal Kindness! There is no Change or Power except with God - the Sublime the Supreme! There is no God but God the Forebearing, the Generous! Glory be to God the Blessed Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme! "Praise be to God!, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;"1 There is no God but You! Anyone who begs of You is prosperous, Your Majesty is Sublime, and anyone who seeks protection in You is safe.
Please give me refuge out of Your Mercy from the evils of all creatures.
God is sufficient for me.
He is enough.
God hears the prayer of the supplicant.
There is no destination beyond God.
O' my God! You are my Lord and You are the Lord of whoever fools me from the genies and men.
You have control over me and him.
Please fend him off give me refuge from its evil by Your Might that cannot be violated and by Your Power that cannot be disobeyed by good or bad people, and by Your Good Words.
Praise be to God who created me while I was nothing.
O' my God! Please help me out with the horrors of this world, the misfortunes of the Hereafter, and the calamities of days and nights.
O' my God! Please be my companion on my trips, and be with my family in my absence.
Please bless what You provide for my sustenance.
Please make me humble to You, give me a steady good temper, let me be loved by You, and not entrust me to the people.
O‟ Lord of the oppressed! You are my Lord! I take refuge in Your Noble Face that illuminates the heavens and the earths and removed their darkness, and put in order the affairs from the beginning to the end from imposing Your Wrath on me, or from allowing Your Anger for me.
I take refuge in You from the ending of Your Blessings, and all Your Wrath.
I return to You as much as I can and there is no Change or Power except with You.
O' my God! You are not a Lord whom we have created, and no creature has ever helped You.
Purified is God from what they say.
O' my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny, bless me at the time of death, and let it be easy and comfortable for me.
O' my God! As You made me a good creation, please give me a good temper.
O' my God! I am weak.
Please strenghten my weakness by Your Pleasure, Pull lead towards good, and let Islam be my ultimate pleasure.
O' my God! I take You and Your angels as witnesses.
You suffice as a witness for me.
I bear witness that You are God.
There is no God but You.
You are the Only who has no associate.
And I bear witness that Muhammad (MGB) is Your Servant, Your Prophet and the best of your creatures.
I bear witness that all the worshipped ones from beneath Your Threshold down to Your seventh earth Your abundant earth besides Your Noble Face - the Eternal-that does not end are false! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny and eliminate all my sufferings and lift it off of me.
O' the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
You hear prayers as indeed You do what You will and all difficulties are easy for You.
O' my God! Please ease all my difficult affairs, ease all hardships, and soften all that is rough! I call on You about the troubles which cannot be driven off by anyone but You, by the Light of Your Noble Face – the Everlasting, the Perfect! And for the sake of Your Servant and Prophet - Muhammad, and for the sake of the divine people who do not say anything but the exaltation of Your Honor and Majesty, and Your Praise and do not propagate anything but what You desrve regarding the Exaltedness of Your Might and the Sublimity of Your Loftiness.
O' my God! I ask You by Your Name which which leveled the mountain to the ground when it shone upon it, the flash of which made Moses prostrate himself in adoration.
I ask You by Your safely treasured Name.
I ask You by Your Name which You told the sea to split for Moses, so it divided into large hills.
I ask You by Your Name with which You debase all enimous oppressors! I ask You by Your Name which when placed on the day it turns bright and when placed on the night it turns dark.
Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny and let me be amongst those who repent, and are purifed.
Forgive my wrongdoings on the Day of the Religion.
Please forgive my parents as they nourished me when I was small, and taught me Your Book and the Traditions of Your Prophet.
Please bestow on them Your Mercy and Kindness, convert their evil deeds into good deeds, accept their good deeds from them, and overlook their wrongdoings as You are most fit to Generosity.
Please let them be amongst those whomYou are pleased with, and lodge in in Your Bountiful Paradise out of Your Mercy and not due to their deeds.
Please favor them with Your Benevolence, Generosity, Might and Mastery.
O' He to whom belongs all Praise.
Praise belongs to none but God.
O' the All-Generous! Kind! O' He who is Eteranl while every thing is mortal! O' He who sees everything but nothing sees You.
O' He who is in the heavenly heights! O' He who guards all things, is kind to everything, and observes every thing.
Indeed You know what the eyes betray and what is concealed in the hearts! You know what is in me, but I do not know what is in You.
I ask You by the Name which You set the mountains up on the earth and they settled there, and I ask You by the Name which You placed on the heavens and then they settled.
Please save me from the Fire and let me cross the Bridge by Your Power along with my parents, my supporters, relatives, in my close company, my loved ones and any Muslim that is associated with me by the Light of Your Being that shall never diminish and by Your Might that cannot be violated! And please provide for me what You know better than I do which no one but You can provide.
Please give me Coverage with your beautiful Cover.
Please pardon me from Your Torture and Punishment by Your Power.
O' my God!You know without being taught.
You are aware of my state and affairs.
Please let me have a share of every good and let me have a way to attain every good.
O' my God! Please let there be a share of supplications to You hoping to receive rewards from You from the east and the west of the earth for Muslim men and women, believing men and women.
Please accept their prayers, assist them against Your enemies and their enemies as You have Power and no one can overpower You.
And none but You can dend off calamities.
O' He who is known for Kindness, Benevolence and Mercy! You are the One who changes what is in the hearts! Please establish my heart firmly on Your Religion.
You are the Director of all affairs, and You choose things for Your Servants.
So please let me be amongst those whom You have chosen for Your Obedience and remain secure from Your Punishment on the day on which those who are wrong are at a loss.
And accept my repentance as You are the Ever-Relenting, the Merciful! And choose me and my children since You have created them in the best form, and granted us Your Most Bountiful Sustenance.
So please perfect Your Blessings for me, my children and my family and expand our sustenance.
And do not make our enemies, the jealous, the oppressors or the rebellious ones happy, and protect us by Your Eyes which do not fall asleep.
O' my God! Here is my prayer, and it is up to You to fulfill it.
I seek Your Support, and rely upon You.
There is no Change or Power except with You.
And may God bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad and his Progeny - the Seal of the Prophets, and on His Progeny - the Immaculate the Pure ones and may His peace be on them plentifully.
God is sufficient for us and in Him we trust.

It is recommended to congratulate the brethren-in-faith on this day by saying:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَنَا مِنَ ٱلْمُتَمَسِّكِينَ

alhamdu lillahi alladhi ja`alana min almutamassikina

Praise be to Allah Who has blessed us to be among those who cling and hold

بِوِلاَيَةِ امِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلائِمَّةِ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

biwilayati amiri almu'minina wal'a'immati `alayhim alssalamu

to the divinely commissioned leadership and authority of Amir al- Mu'minin and all the Imams, peace be upon them all.

It is also recommended to say the following:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي اكْرَمَنَا بِهٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ

alhamdu lillahi alladhi akramana bihadha alyawmi

All praise be to Allah Who has honored us with this day

وَجَعَلَنَا مِنَ ٱلْمُوفِينَ بِعَهْدِهِ إِلَيْنَا

wa ja`alana min almufina bi`ahdihi ilayna

and included us with those who have fulfilled their promise to Him

وَميثَاقِهِ ٱلَّذِي وَاثَقَنَا بِهِ

wa mithaqihi alladhi wathaqana bihi

and their covenant made with Him;

مِنْ وِلاَيَةِ وُلاَةِ امْرِهِ

min wilayati wulati amrihi

that is the loyalty to His representatives

وَٱلْقَوَّامِ بِقِسْطِهِ

walquwwami biqistihi

and the establishers of His justice.

وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْجَاحِدينَ

wa lam yaj`alna min aljahidina

He has not made us of the deniers

وَٱلْمُكَذِّبينَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينَ

walmukadhdhibina biyawmi alddini

and rejecters of the Judgment Day.

The merit of the Eid al-Ghadir Day is too great to be cited. On this day, the deeds of the Shi`ah are admitted and their grievances are relieved. On this day, Prophet Moses (`a) overcame the sorcerers, the fire in which Prophet Abraham (`a) was thrown was made by Almighty Allah comfort and peace, Prophet Moses (`a) appointed Yushua ibn Nun as his successor, Prophet Solomon (`a) declared openly before his people that Asif ibn Barkhiya would be his successor, and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his famiy) united as brothers his companions; therefore, the believers are advised to form brotherhood with each other on this day.

This fraternization, as is quoted by Shaykh al-Nuri in Mustadrak al-Wasa'il from the book of Zad al-Firdaws, can be practiced by putting the right hand on the brother-in-faith’s right hand and saying the following:

آخَيْتُكَ فِي ٱللَّهِ

akhaytuka fillahi

I declare my brotherhood with you for the sake of Allah,

وَصَافَيْتُكَ فِي ٱللَّهِ

wa safaytuka fillahi

I establish friendly terms with you for the sake of Allah,

وَصَافَحْتُكَ فِي ٱللَّهِ

wa safahtuka fillahi

I shake hands with you for the sake of Allah,

وَعَاهَدْتُ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلاَئِكَتَهُ

wa `ahadtu allaha wa mala'ikatahu

I promise Allah, His angels,

وَكُتُبَهُ وَرُسُلَهُ

wa kutubahu wa rusulahu

His Books, His Messengers,

وَانْبِيَاءَهُ وَٱلائِمَّةَ ٱلْمَعْصُومِينَ

wa anbiya'ahu wala'immata alma`sumina

His Prophets, and the Infallible Imams,

عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

`alayhim alssalamu

peace be upon them,

عَلَىٰ انِّي إِنْ كُنْتُ مِنْ اهْلِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَٱلشَّفَاعَةِ

`ala anni in kuntu min ahli aljannati walshshafa`ati

that if I will be an inhabitant of Paradise, allowed to intercede for others,

وَاذِنَ لِي بِانْ ادْخُلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ

wa udhina li bi'an adkhula aljannata

and if I will be allowed Paradise,

لاَ ادْخُلُهَا إِلاَّ وَانْتَ مَعِي

la adkhuluha illa wa anta ma`i

I will not enter it unless you accompany me therein.

The other party should then agree by saying;

قَبِلْتُ

qabilt(u)

I agree

Then, the first party says;

اسْقَطْتُ عَنْكَ جَمِيعَ حُقُوقِ ٱلاخُوَّةِ

asqattu `anka jami`a huquqi al'ukhuwwati

I thus release you from all the duties of fraternity

مَا خَلاَ ٱلشَّفَاعَةَ وَٱلدُّعَاءَ وَٱلزِّيَارَةَ

ma khala alshshafa`ata walddu`a'a walzziyarata

except intercession, supplication, and visiting the tombs of the Infallibles.

Similar to this form, al-Muhaddith al-Fayd, in his book of Khulasat al-Adhkar, has mentioned a form of fraternization adding that the other party, or his representative, may accept the fraternization by uttering any statement entailing agreement. Then, each party releases the other from the duties of fraternity except supplication and visiting the tombs of the Infallibles.

Sayyed ibn Tawus reports the following supplication in Iqbal Amaal for the Night of Ghadir:

Three Short Supplications from Iqbal Amaal and 'Thanks giving' Salat

3.At noon, sit down with tranquility and say the following words:

Iqbal Aamal mentions a 2 Rakat Salat thanksgiving prayer:

Offer a two unit salat at any time preferably near the time of noon for it was at that hour that the event of Ghadeer took place.

In the first Rakat recite Sura Qadr after Sura Fatihah and in the second Rakat recite Sura Ikhlaas after Sura Fatiha

After salat, one should prostrate say one hundred times شُكْراً لِلَّهِ shukran lillah Thanks be to Allah. Then say the following dua:
