يامَنْ لاتَنْقَضِي عَجَائِبُ عَظَمَتِهِ،
yaa mal-laa tanqaz''ee? a'jaaa-ibu a'z'amatih
1.O He the wonders of whose mightiness will never end!
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
2.Bless Muhammad and his Household
وَاحْجُبْنَا عَنِ الالْحَادِ فِي عَظَمَتِكَ.
wa ah'-jub-naa a'nil-il-h'aadi fee a'z'amatik
3.and prevent us from deviation concerning Your mightiness!
وَيَا مَنْ لاَ تَنْتَهِي مُدَّةُ مُلْكِهِ،
wa yaa mal-laa tantahee mud-datu mul-kih
4.O He the term of whose kingdom will never cease!
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
5.Bless Muhammad and his Household
وَأَعْتِقْ رِقَابَنَا مِنْ نَقِمَتِك.
wa aa'-tiq riqaabanaa min-naqimatik
6.and release our necks from Your vengeance!
وَيَا مَنْ لا تَفْنَى خَزَائِنُ رَحْمَتِهِ،
wa yaa mal-laa taf-naa khazaaa-inu rah'-matih
7.O He the treasuries of whose mercy will never be exhausted!
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
8.Bless Muhammad and his Household
وَاجْعَلْ لَنا نَصِيباً فِي رَحْمَتِكَ.
waj-a'l-lanaa nas'eebaa fee rah'-matik
9.and appoint for us a portion of Your mercy!
وَيَا مَنْ تَنْقَطِعُ دُونَ رُؤْيَتِهِ الابْصَارُ،
wa yaa man tanqat'iu' doona roo-yatihil-ab-s'aar
10.O He whom eyes fall short of seeing!
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
11.Bless Muhammad and his Household
وَأَدْنِنَا إلَى قُرْبِكَ.
wa ad-ninaaa ilaa qur-bik
12.and bring us close to Your nearness!
وَيَا مَنْ تَصْغُرُ عِنْدَ خَطَرِهِ الاخْطَارُ،
wa yaa man tas'-ghuru i'nda khat'arihil-akh-t'aar
13.O He before whose greatness all great things are small!
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
14.Bless Muhammad and his Household
wa kar-rim-naa a'lay-k
15.and give us honour with You!
وَيَا مَنْ تَظْهَرُ عِنْدَهُ بَوَاطِنُ الاخْبَارِ،
wa yaa man taz'-haru i'ndahoo bawaat'inul-akh-baar
16.O He to whom all hidden tidings are manifest!
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
17.Bless Muhammad and his Household
وَلاَ تَفْضَحْنَا لَدَيْكَ.
wa laa taf-z''ah'-naa laday-k
18.and expose us not before You!
اللَّهُمَّ أَغْنِنَا عَنْ هِبَةِ الْوَهّابِيْنَ بِهِبَتِكَ،
al-laahum-ma agh-ninaa a'n hibatil-wah-haabeena bihibatik
19.O God, remove our need for the gifts of the givers through Your gift,
وَاكْفِنَا وَحْشَةَ الْقَاطِعِين بِصِلَتِكَ ،
wa ak-finaa wah'-shatal-qaat'ie'ena bis'ilatik
20.spare us the loneliness of those who break off through Your joining,
حَتّى لا نَرْغَبَ إلَى أحَد مَعَ بَذْلِكَ،
h'at-taa laa nar-ghaba ilaaa ah'adim-maa' bad'-lik
21.that we may beseech no one along with Your free giving,
وَلاَ نَسْتَوْحِشَ مِنْ أحَد مَعَ فَضْلِكَ
wa laa nas-taw-h'isha min ah'adim-ma'aa faz'-lik
22.that we may feel lonely at no one's absence along with Your bounty!
اللهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ
al-laahum-ma fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
23.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
وَكِدْ لَنَا وَلا تَكِدْ عَلَيْنَا،
wa kid lanaa wa laa takid a'lay-naa
24.scheme for us, not against us,
وَامْكُرْ لَنَا وَلاَ تَمْكُرْ بنَا،
wa am-kur lanaa wa laa tam-kur binaa
25.devise to our benefit, not to our loss,
وَأدِلْ لَنَا وَلاَ تُدِلْ مِنّا.
wa adil-lanaa wa laa tudil min-naa
26.give the turn to prevail to us, not to others!
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
27.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
وَقِنَا مِنْكَ، وَاحْفَظْنَا بِكَ، وَاهْدِنَا إلَيْكَ،
wa qinaa mink wa ah'-faz'-naa bik wa ah-dinaaa ilay-k
28.protect us from Yourself, safeguard us through Yourself, guide us to Yourself,
وَلاَ تُبَاعِدْنَا عَنْكَ إنّ مَنْ تَقِهِ يَسْلَمْ،
wa laa tubaai'd-naa a'nk in-na man taqihee yas-lam-
29.and take us not far from Yourself! he whom You protectest stays safe,
وَمَنْ تَهْدِهِ يَعْلَمْ، وَمَنْ تُقَرِّبُهُ إلَيْكَ يَغْنَمْ.
wa man tah-dihee yaa'-lam- wa man tuqar-rib-hooo ilay-ka yagh-nam-
30.he whom You guidest knows, and he whom You bringest near Yourself takes the spoils.
الّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ
al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
31.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household
وَاكْفِنَا حَدَّ نَوائِبِ الزَّمَانِ،
wa ak-finaa h'ad-da nawaaa-ibiz-zamaan
32.and spare us the cutting edge of time's turning changes,
وَشَرَّ مَصَائِدِ الشّيطانِ وَمَرَارَةَ صَوْلَةِ السُّلْطَانِ.
wa shar-ra mas'aaa-idish-shay-t'aan wa maraarata s'aw-latis-sul-t'aan
33.the evil of Satan's snares, and the bitterness of the sovereign's aggression!
اللّهُمَّ إنَّما يَكْتَفِي الْمُكْتَفُونَ بِفَضْـل
al-laahum-ma in-namaa yak-tafeel-muk-tafoona bifaz'-li
34.O God, the spared are spared only through the bounty
قُوَّتِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى محَمَّد وَآلِهِ ،وَاكْفِنَا
qoo-watik fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalihee wak-finaa
35.of Your strength, so bless Muhammad and his Household, and spare us!
وَإنَّمَا يُعْطِي الْمُعْطُونَ مِنْ فَضْلِ جِدَتِكَ
wa in-namaa yua'-t'eel-mua'-t'oona min faz''-li jidatik
36.The givers give only through the bounty of Your wealth,
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ و اعطنا
fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalihee wa aa'-t'inaa
37.so bless Muhammad and his Household and give to us!
وَإنمَا يَهْتَدِي الْمُهْتَدُونَ بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ
wa in-namaa yah-tadeel-muh-tadoona binoori waj-hika
38.The guided are guided only by the light of Your face,
فَصَلِّ عَلَى محمّد وَآلِهِ وَاهْدِنَا .
fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalihee wah-dinaa
39.so bless Muhammad and his Household and guide us!
اللّهُمَّ إنّكَ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ لَمْ يَضْرُرْهُ خِذْلانُ الْخَاذِلِينَ،
al-laahum-ma in-nak maw-waalay-ta lam yaz''-rur-hoo khid'-laanul-khaad'ileen
40.O God, he whom You befriendest will not be injured by the abandonment of the abandoners,
وَمَنْ أعْطَيْتَ لَمْ يَنْقُصْهُ مَنْـعُ الْمَانِعِينَ،
wa man aa'-t'ay-ta lam yanqus'-hoo man-u'l-maanie'en
41.he to whom You givest will not be diminished by the withholding of the withholders,
وَمَنْ هَدَيْتَ لَمْ يُغْوِهِ إضْلاَلُ المُضِلِّيْنَ.
wa man haday-ta lam yugh-wiheee iz''-laalul-muz''il-leen
42.he whom You guidest will not be misled by the misguidance of the misguiders.
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، وَامْنَعْنَا بِعِزَّكَ، مِنْ عِبَادِكَ
fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih wa am-naa'-naa bii'z-zika min i'baadik
43.So bless Muhammad and his Household, defend us from Your servants
وَأغْنِنَا عَنْ غَيْرِكَ بِإرْفَادِكَ
wa agh-ninaa a'n ghay-rika bir-faadik
44.through Your might, free us from need for other than You through Your support,
وَاسْلُكْ بِنَا سَبِيلَ الْحَقِّ بِـإرْشَادِكَ.
was-luk binaa sabeelal-h'aq-qi biir-shaadik
45.and make us travel the path of the Truth through Your right guidance!
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِـهِ وَاجْعَلْ سَلاَمَةَ قُلُوبِنَا
al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih waj-a'l- salaamata quloobinaa
46.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household and put the soundness of our hearts
فِي ذِكْرِ عَظَمَتِكَ وَفَرَاغَ أبْدَانِنَا فِي شُكْرِ نِعْمَتِكَ
fee d'ik-ri a'z'amatik wa faraagha ab-daaninaa fee shuk-ri nia'-matik
47.into the remembrance of Your mightiness, the idleness of our bodies into giving thanks for Your favour,
وَانْطِلاَقَ أَلْسِنَتِنَا فِي وَصْفِ مِنَّتِكَ.
want'ilaaqa al-sinatinaa fee was'-fi min-natik
48.and the flow of our tongues into the description of Your kindness!
أللَهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ
al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
49.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household
وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ دُعَاتِكَ الدّاعِينَ إلَيْكَ
min dua'atikad-daae'ena ilay-k
50.and make us one of Your summoners who summon to You,
وَهُدَاتِكَ الدَّالّينَ عَلَيْكَ
wa hudaatikad-daaal-leena a'lay-k
51.Your guiders who direct to You,
وَمِنْ خَاصَّتِكَ الْخَاصِّينَ لَدَيْكَ
wa min khaaas'-s'atikal-khaaas'-s'eena laday-k
52.and Your special friends whom You hast singled out!
يَا أرْحَمَ ألرَّاحِمِينَ .
yaaa ar-h'amar-raah'imeen
53.O Most Merciful of the merciful!
