أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،

al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih

1.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,

وَأَفْرِشْنِي مِهَادَ كَـرَامَتِـكَ،

wa af-rish-nee mihaada karaamatik

2.spread for me the bed of Your honour,

وَأَوْرِدْنِي مَشَارِعَ رَحْمَتِـكَ،

wa aw-rid-nee mashaaria' rah'-matik

3.bring me to the wateringholes of Your mercy,

وَأَحْلِلْنِي بُحْبُوحَةَ جَنَّتِكَ،

wa ah'-lil-nee buh'-booh'ata jan-natik

4.set me down in the midst of Your Garden,

وَلاَ تَسُمْنِي بِالرَّدِّ عَنْكَ،

wa laa tasum-nee bir-rad-di a'nk

5.stamp me not with rejection by You,

وَلا تَحْرِمْنِي بِـالْخَيْبَةِ مِنْـكَ،

wa laa tah'-rim-nee bil-khay-bati mink

6.deprive me not through disappointment by You,

وَلاَ تُقَاصَّنِي بِمَـا اجْتَرَحْتُ،

wa laa tuqaaas'-s'anee bimaj-tarah'-t

7.settle not accounts with me for what I have committed,

وَلاَ تُنَاقِشْنِي بِمَا اكْتَسَبْتُ،

wa laa tunaaqish-nee bimak-tasab-t

8.make no reckoning with me for what I have earned,

وَلا تُـبْرِزْ مَكْتُوْمِي، وَلاَ تَكْشِفْ مَسْتُورِي،

wa laa tub-riz mak-toomee wa laa tak-shif mas-tooree

9.display not what I have hidden, expose not what I have covered over,

وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَى مِيزانِ الأنْصَافِ عَمَلِي،

wa laa tah'-mil a'laa meezaanil-ins'aafi a'malee

10.weigh not my works on the scales of fairness,

وَلاَ تُعْلِنْ عَلَى عُيُونِ الْمَلاَءِ خَبَـرِي.

wa laa tua'-lin a'laa u'yoonil-malaa khabaree

11.and make not my tidings known to the eyes of the crowd!

أَخْفِ عَنْهُمْ مَا يَكُونُ نَشْرُهُ عَلَيَّ عَاراً،

akh-fi a'n-hum maa yakoonu nash-ruhoo a'lay-ya a'araa

12.Conceal from them everything whose unfolding would shame me

وَاطْوِ عَنْهُمْ مَا يُلْحِقُنِي عِنْدَكَ شَنَاراً،

wat'-wi a'n-hum maa yul-h'iqunee i'ndaka shanaaraa

13.and roll up before them all which would join me to disgrace with You!

شَرِّفْ دَرَجَتِي بِرِضْوَانِكَ،

shar-rif darajatee biriz''-waanik

14.Ennoble my degree through Your good pleasure,

وَأكْمِلْ كَرَامَتِي بِغُفْرَانِكَ،

wa ak-mil karaamatee bighuf-raanik

15.perfect my honour through Your forgiveness,

وَانْظِمْنِي فِي أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِينِ،

wa anz'im-nee feee as'-h'aabil-yameen

16.rank me among the companions of the right hand,

وَوَجِّهْنِي فِي مَسَالِكِ الآمِنِينَ،

wa waj-jih-nee fee masaalikil-aaamineen

17.direct me to the roads of the secure,

وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي فَوْجِ الْفَائِزِينَ،

waj-a'l-nee fee faw-jil-faaa-izeen

18.place me in the throng of the triumphant,

وَاعْمُرْ بِي مَجَالِسَ الصَّالِحِينَ،

waa'-mur bee majaalisas'-s'aalih'een

19.and through me let the sessions of the righteous thrive!

آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ .

aaameena rab-bal-a'alameen

20.Amen, Lord of the worlds!
